@mkopec I just scrapped a Brutus build (was just farting around with it) so I have a few pieces that have your name on it. I'll be on around 5:30 central time tonight, I can jump on Discord too if you use that. Edit: I think you're talking about the Wildfire Crimson Jewels. I have two of them...

My buddies are done with Legacy until 3.0 comes out so I've been lonely in POE lately. If anyone needs some gear (for virtually any build) just friend me (jeydax) and shoot me a message. I flip trade at the start of league's and have a huge stash of pretty decent gear and gems. I'm also bored so...

Oh I totally agree with that, but it is at least a barometer of where you should at least have SOME of a connection. Along the I-5 corridor you're talking about I could see it being really spotty.

Ah yeah I get it now. LOL definitely need a decoration or two. Perhaps a black leather couch? Get a freaking mouse pad! I hate their mantra but I love the mousepads www.pcgamingrace.com have - I have two of them. And they're more like mouse towels with how big they are.

Yeah and the other issue with those Malakriss is that you can't really tilt the outer monitors towards you very much - especially if you have monitors that are on the upper end in size of what is supported (so like 24" as you'd linked). Noodle if you can't afford the 3M (or similar quality...

Nice setup Joeboo. Just curious though, how come you don't use wall mounts? My biggest issue with the desk mounts is if my desk got bumped, my monitors would bounce around some (I had the same ones as you but the single arm mounts), drove me nuts. Granted that was on my old shitty Ikea desk and...

We're starting to see a 10-15% FPS increase going from an i5 to an i7 for some games, so I would whole heatedly disagree that an "i7 is a 100% waste of money for a gaming machine."

    Phone virus?

Good question. Personally, I have no idea. The only mobile antivirus/etc software I've used is ESET. And when I backup my phones, I only backup the photos/videos and zip backup my SMS messages (wtf else do you need to backup on a phone? connect to wifi and redownload yuour apps).

^ Pretty accurate advice. If you do heavy multiplayer gaming (think Battlefield 1 with 40+ players) the additional CPU firepower will help.

Nuke both phones and be done with it. It takes all of 5 minutes to do a complete nuke nowadays sans the backup.

I don't have a link for everything to assemble but as far as for properly handling the CPU and applying thermal paste (arctic silver): It is quite easy. @brekk : Yeah only reason I mentioned north bridge is because he mentioned it was an older system. @Noodleface : TLDR: More heat/electrical load = shorter life span of a system than less heat and less load. Like I said (twice now): not saying that is the reason, and it certainly isn't the...

Not saying it is the reason why, generally you should try and go with 2 sticks of ram instead of 4 pieces. Two is a little easier on the memory controller/north bridge than filling up all four slots would be. So I generally always go with two sticks over four. Unless you're working on a quad...
