The ClassicLFG add on actually works pretty well. The author could easily expand this for raids.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

Is anyone actually excited for those? If they released TBC and WoTLK classic servers I seriously doubt I'd give them a look. Granted, I loved those expansions, but I don't really have any nostalgic feelings towards those. Well, TBC a tiny bit, but not enough where I give a shit.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

Doubt they'll do this, but how about take a different direction? Just slowly add content to Classic. Character level will stay at 60, no new skills, and progression will be purely item based.

I'm on Westfall, name is "Gangy" - dwarf priest. Almost 20.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

I wonder if Classic would've done as well if Blizzard had never touched the original zones? I feel that Blizzard fucked-up massively with Cata.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

I really would like to know what Blizzard is thinking about the fact that all these people want to play the original game? What is this telling them?

    World of Warcraft: Classic

How about just have ONE server and dynamically add as many "layers" as needed? Didn't the original Guild Wars do this? I mean it's been fifteen years. Why is this multi server concept still a thing?

    World of Warcraft: Classic

Haha yes. Person in front would loot and everyone moved up. I was shocked at how well behaved everyone was.

Hilarious. People actually formed lines for "A Refugee's Quandary" quest.

    Stranger Things

I thought they were doppelgangers and the real versions were comatose at the mill. A human eating fertilizer would probably kill them dead pretty quick. Sad the hot lifeguard chick died. Oh well. Mediocre season. This series needs to wrap up with season 4.

The nostalgia of re-living the beginning days of WoW will be worth it.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

My apologies if this has been asked and answered, but is there an "unofficial" FoH Alliance guild for those of us that have no desire to play Horde?

    World of Warcraft: Classic

So the entire point of Classic is manually forming dungeon groups. And that's it. Okay.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

Fucking stupid. Why do people have a hard-on for sitting around yelling LFG in chat for hours on end? That shit is NOT fun.

    Krypton

I honestly don't think Syfy can make it in this current environment. Cable TV is doomed and their genre focus makes it even worse. They're probably better off dropping their cable channel and, instead, license their original content to Netflix or something.

Right tool for the job and all of that, but I can't imagine why anyone would rather use ADO.NET or write SQL strings over EntityFramework. I guess I can see it if you're primarily a database guy and want absolute control. But, my God, that shit is awful. AWFUL.

So if anyone gives a shit, this is what I decided to do: Our application's installer is now passphrase protected. This passphrase was used to encrypt the symmetric key used in our application. The encrypted symmetric key is what exists in the installer program. During installation the...

Has anyone tried this? Something I am sorely lacking is experience with other code bases. I've worked on two applications for my current job (one is an old ass ASP.NET WebForms application, the other is a newer Angular 2+ / WebAPI contraption), but that's all my experience involves. I'd love...

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

He was told that the aliens were from Zeti Reticuli, but as was mentioned in the vid I linked, that could've been misinformation given to him. All he knows is what he saw and what he was told. For all we know, these craft at Area 51 could actually be from Wakanda.

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

Sorry if this is a sort-of a repost, but I found this video pretty fascinating. I (and most here too probably) have known of Bob Lazar for many years now, but I always assumed the dude was lying... ...but after watching this analysis of the Joe Rogan interview? Not so sure now.

Need some ideas from a security guru on something: Our software is installed on a customer's server by delivering installation files to it and running the setup executable -- you know, like any old fashion Windows application. This also applies to updates to the application as well -- install...

Who here has an Instant Pot? I've been using a slow cooker previously but the long ass cooking times is really inconvenient. Also, I hate cooking with the passion of a thousand suns so I was looking for something that is quick and simple. So, I tried cooking a frozen chicken breast and I...

    The Walking Dead

Honestly, I've quite enjoyed the direction Fear has taken. They have a good cast now with Lennie James and Dillahunt joining. Ratings decline is probably due to fatigue with the main series, rather than specifically Fear. Just my guess.
