Likely longer is the biggest understatement possible. We saw a tech demo with two models, three partial zones, 4ish skills, and no monster AI. I'd guess nobody will be playing any form of EQN in the next 2 years. Talk about blowing your load early.

If it was like Cubeworld or like GW2 where weapons affect your attacks and you prefer certain weapons on certain classes, one per class makes sense. I mean, prior to the last Cubeworld class if you were using the bugged crossbows on the Ranger class, you were looking for 1 exact weapon type...

Is anyone else finding it hard to go back to these style of games where you have to stand still to cast spells? After TERA (which would rubber band you in place) and more recently GW2, (and Vanguard, a long time ago) where you could always move while casting it's just very strange to be locked...

I really fear for the unbeta tested levels. Those areas are always filled with unbalanced, exploitable garbage. People will hit 35 in X amount of time and then shoot up to 50 in a ridiculously short amount of time. It's like that in every single game where they arbitrarily cap the levels on...

I gave away my beta account. FF11 was a shitheap, I don't think this will be any better. The combat is laughable. I think the last FF game I enjoyed was FF3, but then again I was 14 and the target audience.

There needs to be a middle ground between something like EQ2, which had entirely too many keybinds, and this game and other games like it. DFUW feels a lot like GW2, where you're using the same exact skills the entire time you play the game. With everything else having some progression to it...

Man, you really couldn't deal with the culling. I fought PRX quite a bit and it was pointless because you had literally 100 people in a 20x20 area. Nobody ever loaded your zerg. When we fought LESSER ZERGs, you could have 20 guys on one interior tower at a garrison fighting attackers that...

My experiences in FF11 was about 10 hours spent killing crabs followed by 5 hours killing something else. The next thing to kill was a different colored crab so I quit outright. Not sure how anyone made it past that.
