    Archeage

Sucks to hear it's closing down. I think about ArcheAge all the time, what a fantastic game and experience. The litrpg I'm reading right now, the Ripple System, almost seems like an Archeage novel

I started the Arcosphere Balancing phase of Space Exploration last night. That's another part of the mod I've been looking forward to for a while and it's not disappointing at all. The first attempt I blindly made worked "OK" but not great. I'm reading a bit more about it and it's way deeper...

Unlucky meteors can happen on planets with biter meteors too, which repopulated the biters on my planet after I completely wiped them out. I relaxed my pollution so as soon as they landed they multiplied like crazy until I caught them.

Largely out, yes. But not totally out. I think people leveling personas build up merc task / mission routes or whatever. Also note that you also need to regrind the AAs for a persona, even the general ones.

    Everquest - Live Servers

The amount of XP the achivements give is fixed, such that if you did the ToV quests early (at like 100 or something) you'd get multiple levels. When I've powerleveled alts I've done them ASAP and you cruise up pretty high. I'd say if you're leveling normally, just do the content when it becomes...

Yes. It's super duper hot (5000C). It'll finish its interstellar journey with like, 40k out of 50k steam left. I have this little factory that emits a beam on the top into the receiver on the bottom, which turns the heat into 5000C steam that is sent via train to different parts of my Nauvis...

Behold, Naq Hauler Mk. II. I don't think I showed off Naq Hauler Mk. I but this one uses antimatter drives, has 4 warehouses for Naquitite and has force fields to prevent damage from rare events where asteroids are very dense. There are 4 different locations it cycles through. I've been...

My Cryonite moon was one of the most reliable factories and the last of the new resources to adopt core mining. It just chunked along indefinitely, providing sand and cryonite to the solar system with only the rare need to find another mine. I rehauled it using the same kind of style as before...

Playing BG3 without the flaming sword is basically like playing Morrowind after you kill a key character and the game can't be beaten.

    Manor lords

Yeah, it feels like all the builders suffer from the same scaling issue where in the endgame you're still drawing lines of roads and shit. A game where you start off being the local leader of some shithole village with like 10 people in it and have to literally farm cabbage yourself at first...

I was wondering this too. I made this thread: 4 months after release, what's your highest persona? | Page 5 | EverQuest Forums Few people are leveling personas to max level on live, and the people that do are mostly 6boxers that enjoy grinding. I'm planning on leveling up some personas this...

I went to my Vitamelange planet and rebuilt the factories. This heavily uses direct insertion like the naquitite factory but tries out a new idea of building each factory next to a Core Miner, moving all the core mining to each quadrant while consuming it with priority but still getting most of...

There's no Kensai, but having played BG1/2 as Kensai multiple times, I felt right at home as a barbarian in BG3. Especially when if you get the badass flaming sword in the tutorial.

Underspace - Space game, spiritual successor to Freelancer

Definitely looks like a Freelancer clone. I think I got tired of the gameplay mechanics of "rotate your ship to aim at this floating reticle" a long time ago. After playing Chorus that tried to evolve way beyond that with more arcadey combat options the first thing I look for in my beloved...

I just got off the phone with Ngreth, in order to reward players for exploring other areas they are going to reduce XP and loot drops in a zone by 10% for every pick that is currently spawned for that zone while doubling XP/loot for zones with no picks and increasing loot/xp by 50% for zones...

    LitRPG

I just finished Shadeslinger, Ripple System 1. I enjoyed it a lot, though I think some of the MMO aspects are somewhat worn out for me after having plauyed a dozen of the damn games over the years. I expect future books will be less generic MMO and more evolved, which is fine.

The US Senate didn't propose this. A member of the US Senate (known for this kind of bullshit) sent a letter to Biden about it. I don't even know if Sen Warren is on whatever subcommittee would be responsible to craft this kind of legislation. edit: she is on the taxation subcomittee...

The way I do ratios is with Helmod where I create this production block and then roughly create the right ratios. Beyond the ridiculous amount of naquitite stacks going through, this processing is an absolute monster with 6 solid inputs, 5 liquid inputs and 5 outputs.

At some point when I upgrade this factory the big change is to have the rail cut through the center. and offload on both sides. This will increase how much direct insertion from buffer chest to pulverizer, which is better UPS. It'll also simplify my inputs/outputs a bit being able to use the...
