Some backtracking doesn't bother me especially if the gameplay is fun. Also, it seems you open shortcuts during your first time through, so it looks like it won't be redoing 100% of the stuff you did before. I'm hopeful anyways since I really want to like this.

Where are you guys seeing 10 hours? Gamespot and IGN took 22 and 20 hours and didn't do all the secrets. Eurogamer did 30 hours. It seems by no mean to be a long game though. I mean a game like Uncharted 4 is like 15 hours, 25 or so as a completionist, and around 6 hours for speedrunners...

I won my first expedition. Totally crushed my opponent. I really like the way the draft goes picking more than 1 card at a time, and being able to trade 3 at the end. It feels less random and feels like you can try to build around a theme better.

It looks pretty, seems there's some performance issue, load times look extremely long, it seems to play like Uncharted like exploration and bloodborne/soul combat. I don't want to watch too much to spoil the story in case I decided to get it.

Yes you can lose it, it takes times though. You can always built another or take one someone has left in the world, I think you can own 4, if you built a 5th one it destroys the oldest one. Don't worry much about abandoning it. :)

It looks interesting reduce barrier, improve the survivability of the barrier heroes somehow via shield or abilities. It will change the pace of the game. Less time shooting barrier more time shooting tanks themselves.

This is the only show that I had some interest in for Apple TV+ and watched the first episode and wasn't impressed, I will watch the 2nd to see if it improves a bit, but not expecting much. The premise as far as the first episode goes is simply not interesting.
