Devourers are the snakes that burst out of the ground -- they're unique in the sense that they're guaranteed to get a swing at you... you won't have any idea they're invading until they burst. Ranged characters reign supreme with shit gear. Its a new league, people are playing safe ranged builds and looking to farm before trying melee builds which were far more gear dependent in the prior leagues.

First thoughts on Invasion: Much harder than Nemesis. High likelihood of nerfs due to 1 shot mechanics on invading bosses in the early levels. Vaal orbs can ruin uniques. Insta log out if you see invading chaos snake.
