The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)

We are really scraping the bottom of the fucking barrel with no new releases, aren't we?

I saw Jurnee Smollett and wondered how the hell he was getting work again before I realized it was someone else.

    Any hope for this painting?

Sorry man, this is all on you for not looking at completed samples up front. I've commissioned pieces before and either had a good idea what I'd be getting up front in terms of style or adjusted my expectations accordingly. And this is just for small pieces for $60-$100 range. You'd bet your...

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

Goddamn if one of the Alamos here in Northern VA did that I'd drop $150 to see Fury Road in a heartbeat.

    Tread (2020)

Yeah, I didn't know he had made multiple audio tapes to rant / deliver his manifesto which obviously made him a less-than sympathetic figure. But man, oh man, when it gets to the part with the killdozer it's all worth it. So much engineering that went into that thing and things that they tried...

Mox Diamonds are $400 and Gaea's Cradles are $500. But there's a few other hits around the $100 point. Time Spiral, Tolarian Academy, Serra's Sanctum, etc. At this point the value is in the rarity of a 25-year uncracked box more than the pull

    Starship Troopers (reboot)

That trailer made me angry all over again how the movie completely missed the point of the novel (my all-time favorite btw).

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (2011)

Hopped in this thread because I thought there was an update after getting blue-balled on the release of the Whole Bloody Affair for like, ever. Jimmies rustled.

Hey I'm moving soon and need to sell a bunch of the extra copies from KS I have stocked up. Was going to put them up here for sale a couple days before I put them on FB. Can I do that here @Amod or do I need donor status to use the classified section? No big deal if that is the case.

    Ghost of Tsushima

Finished it last night. What a ride. Was not prepared for how hectic the final boss battle was. Used Ghost Armor + Terror rune to clear the test of the map afterward, now finishing all collectibles.

    Ghost of Tsushima

RDR 2 was a great ride, but I don't feel like I want to play it again anytime soon. Rockstar does a great job, but they went in the direction of more realism whereas Sucker Punch was all about fun and quality of life. Also while there's a ton of different items and controls in both games, I...

    Ghost of Tsushima

There's an smart target option in the menu that I didn't know about. I haven't tried to see if that helped yet though. Found it while messing around before crashing last night.

    Red Dead Redemption 2

Story was great, but really no zero urge to replay it. Some of those challenges were bullshit so I maxed the 4 easiest ones. No way was I going to do all 10 for every category.

    Minecraft Dungeons

I don't know what it was about Castle Crashers but that game started fights every time we played. Kill-stealing was a bitch. I want to pick this up for shits and grins but no time for sure now due to spinning2win on D3 and Ghost of Tsushima.

    Command & Conquered Remastered

Why would they need 200+ songs from the OST when they know damn well everyone is just going to put Hell March on repeat?

Kingdom of Amalur: Re-Reckoning remaster releasing soon

I thought the original was great and would buy again. Played through 100% + 2 expansions. Would also prefer they fixed how the level scaling worked but at end-game you were probably going to become godlike with a full skill tree anyway. Blademaster FTW!

    Blood Machines (2019)

I got a 7-day free trial of Shudder to watch this. I sort of expected more music throughout, like a Carpenter Brut version of Sturgill Simpson's Sound and Fury. As a sci-fi movie it clocked at about an hour so it was too short to really get into. The other nitpick was that on Shudder, it had...

    The Matrix reboot/remake

Agree 100%. I caught an anniversary showing last year in a theater. The action, the score, the soundtrack were all exceptional. CGI not a distraction. I think a another theater was going to do one this year and I would have totally be in for it again. Matrix: Reloaded, not so much. The...

    Board Games

Not gonna lie, it's been sort of a golden age for board games but there's also been quite a glut of them in the past few years, fueled in large part by KS. So I'm not entirely disappointed by the news.

    The Division 2

Grenade Launcher was EZ mode compared to sniper rifle and crossbow when the game first came out. No idea if they ever re-balanced them. The other specializations weren't out then and I decided not to grind for them after they made it a tedious slog.

    Ghost of Tsushima

I'd give my left nut for a full open-world Samurai game (get on it Rockstar!) but I am perfectly happy with AC: Samurai since I feel the genre is underrepresented.
