Seeing this makes me more feel like Nvidia actually is choking supply, but the reason being that its because they know theyre screwing over all those stores and system integrators that purchased alot of cards for those prices. Now the 3000 series comes out and every single card smashes those...
Looks nice, - still waiting on my mf'n thermaltake distro-plate to go on sale - i even got my 3090 FE waterblock and this mfer still sold out in the US. Tons of them in the AU but does me little good since none of them are doing international shipping.
I really never saw it happening -
3080 10gb $699
3080 20gb $899?
3080 ti xxGB $1200?
3090 24GB 1499 - problem is with 3090 being just a bit better than a 3080 -all the other cards would have to be made to be under a 3090 as far as performance not to completely screw over 3090 purchasers -...
Not sure whos in Detroit area but i cancelled my

so it should pop up for sale overnight
Some dude in fuckin Cali is selling them like crazy on ebay but his prices are double MSRP - hes even on facebook marketplace selling them with shipping - I usually stalk Microcenter for them but they havent been getting any lately - Seems they all somehow ended up on ebay or facebook MP.
Some prebuilts for the anxious who dont want to wait -

Get a UW as primary and put the 27 on the side - If youre using it for work then yeah 3 monitors is fine, but for gaming i personally like having 1 larger/wide monitor and 1 other on the side.
Ive had all 3 - PG35VQ, X35, 38GN, 27GL950, in the end the difference between them all outside of the hz difference is so negligible that youre just paying for the name.
Bothered by them lowering Gsync ultimate to allow HDR600 in when before it was for HDR1000 - its almost pure marketing for AW38 inch even tho its no better than the 38GN - the module hoopla is rubbish - give me 38 oled mfers!
Until OLED UW panels are a thing i cant see anything being very tempting on the horizon. I would kill for a 38inch UW OLED @ 120-144hz, c'mon LG, save us!
Weird i use a 850+ plat on mine and ive not had but 1 blue screen since installing my 3090 and that was playing Apex - I dont think my wat usage has gone above 500 total yet judging by what my ROG Thor shows me. My 3090 FE doesnt go beyond 66c or so in games but my basement is kept fairly cool...
Theyre both kinda basic, but Bobbie in her prime was a fox even without make up on - but Cara..........umm no thats what we call basic - yall standards got issues.
put her back on a treadmill and she be good to go!
for 32 inch is recommend the Dell if i can find the link to it -
if youre not into gaming and just want a good 4k for your CAD - depending on $$$ the LG 27GL950 is a good purchase -
some options
In the end, depends on budget - you wanting more than 60hz - etc etc
You need these

thats the older model
Think i was all Radeon after the Geforce 2 or 3 - stayed with Radeon till that R9 Fury or something - Thinking back the drivers were an issue i just never paid it much attention
Wont be as much RGB unfortunately, sorry to let your kid down! :P
He'd have loved the build i had a couple years back that had like 14 Thermaltake RGB fans - fuck if Uni Fans we'rent a thing id totally not do this build based off the previous nightmare i had with thermaltake fans and shitty...
Not sure where i saw it - maybe it was here, but someone commented on it being a way to know just how much they can price the Ti line when it comes out. They KNOW people are paying over 2k for the 24GB card - so the 20GB cards can safely go up another 200 or so without any real gains - then the...
First custom loop build and i may have set my sights quite high -
I have like 2-3 weeks before cpu arrives - gives me time to fail repeatedly until i succeed!
BB had stock at 3pm - lasted less than 10min - they have an annoying queue system in place where you can click it and it say its in high demand and to try again lol
Solid build, agree with the ram mention and 32GB is most id use for a gaming PC - 64GB is far beyond what you'd use.
Cant speak much on the ram but here are some lower CL w/ faster speeds
i personally use these...
Neg - I am testing out a G9 atm and not thrilled with it at all - aside from the AR which i do kinda like, the picture is just a hard pass after using an OLED to game on - Also on the OLED front i generally only turn it on when i plan to do something not requiring a static image i guess. Sure...
Shrug i buy whatever - had a 5700XT for a short period of time - i will admit i hate AMD software compared to Nvidia but all that matters is the frames
Maybe - hes been pretty spot on thus far - if there is a flood of 3000 series suddenly next month then his GDDR6x spiel was accurate and this was all a ploy to have crazy hype.
Unlikely since it seems Nvidia is just planning to release the floodgates in november and stop their created shortages - Supposedly something like 300,000 cards of 3080s alone will hit market early november and supposedly even more 3070s will be ready on launch day. Thats ofcourse is MLID is...
Nah man 3070 for $500? and theyre supposed to be hoarding a nice drop for the release date on that just to f up AMD - Then you have AMD also - No way a 2070 will be at $300 a month from now -
With depreciation and the gpu market being what it is i wouldnt expect anyone to pay over $600 for that, and thats if youre lucky - Dated low end parts becoming more low end with new cpu's and gpu's coming out - That gpu will be like 200-250 soon on the resell market. The CPU is a toss up since...
So with a G9 and CX side by side its hard to see why get a G9 - 240hz is broken on the 3000 series or in nvidia drivers in general so it ends up being what would you rather run at 120hz - AR is nice but eh its just doesnt hold a candle to an oled - just wish the oled was smaller
I was however...
