Eh, depends on you I spose. Abyss can drop the kaom div cards i'm pretty sure, courtyard has triple boss and drops emperors luck, port is a very straightforward map if you want speed clearing. Underground river is also straightforward like port but I think port is faster and has more mobs.

Uhh, you can't shape Abyss or any other t15, and you can shape 3 t10s. Courtyard is generally seen as the best cause triple boss, port is also popular (quay before changed name of it).

I doubt you'll get 20ex for that ventor's sadly since it's only 4% quantity and that's the main stat people look for, but you might since the rarity and resists are nice.

I take some performance hits fairly frequently after the patch too. I'm guessing it has to do with the graphical updates and that's why people are probably saying go to dx9. I'm usually fine and it just does the graphic downgrade thing it does but rarely I freeze up for a second or 3.
