That's cool man, but can I ask a question - are you ever happy? All of your posts seems so negative, snarky, down, syndrome, sad, angry, and lonely.
Which game hurt you so bad? Who caused this damage?
"I personally love the idea of an endless dungeon, don't take that as a quote that I promised we are adding them though!" - okay! Thanks, random guy who isn't Dave Brevik! We'll definitely (possibly) (not or maybe) look forward to a (possible) endless dungeon, bro! Thanks for committing!
Wow, all this does (http://diablo.somepage.com/info/patches-future) is make me feel like these fuckstains have absolutely *zero* clue about what made Diablo such a great series (until 3). They lack direction and focus, they are totally scattered. It will take them 2-3 years for their...
It's definitely your build that determines the difficulty of the fight, for sure. I guess not everyone has the same standards for difficulty. I found the werewolves+caster+big guy in the marshes much easier (on Heroic), cleared it on the first attempt. The big spider was also just as easy.
I would love it if they could turn this game around, but right now - I just don't have faith in that team to perform *any fucking thing* that remotely resembles a turnaround.
My thing is, to be totally honest - I'm not a huge gamer anymore. I have other things to pump my time and focus into...
The only option I have for my Online Character (Hard) is to "Go Online!" from the in-game menu, or "Play" from the start screen. There's no "Join Online Game" or whatever. The fuck am I missing?
Well, I got to some mine-pit boss this morning that I just can't get past. A big drill type thing that just kicks my ass, millions of spiders spawning during the fight - I can't beat it on hard. About to re-roll.
I think Microsoft's strategy is to differentiate and focus on cross-platform more than just a powerhouse gaming console. Look at the Sony line of televisions and how Samsung has completely taken over in that arena. Core lines of business (OS, Phone, Xbone, Surface) all syncing over Xbox...
Digging it so far, but I selected "Hard" and this game is kicking my ass. The music is great and so is the voice talent - really feels like a world you can get into.
Yeah, the $13.49 price tag plus the reviews have sold me. Just loaded it. Going to give it a go for a few hours right now. Was playing D3 earlier this morning and thinking to myself: "Self, why the fuck are you playing this colorful, butterfly-ridden piece of shit? If only there was a *real*...
Ah.
Even "solo" dungeons where I could bring a friend - something for one or two people. I really miss playing with real life friends because we can't do raid-level shit, or even five-mans for just two people. The philosophy of just duoing with a friend was lost somewhere along the way, but for...
I really love this:
Soloers PVE'ers (IMO under-served in most MMOs oddly as they are 65+% of the playerbase in most western MMOs) get more than rep grinds and dailies by having solo story dungeons released regularly, dynamic PQ content (most to be revealed down the road), big frequent...
I don't need to feel like a hero. In fact, that's what kind of forces me into a template with these games - that everything is ultra heroic is just a kind of fa?ade when there are 10,000 other heroes all fighting together for something. I like Dark Souls because we are all dead, ghosts...
It would be cool if users could rate foundry stuff and the creators with more accuracy. I think, when I tried the beta a month ago, that it was in game but it was totally marginalized and random ratings.
Crowdsourced content in an MMO would be great - imagine endless content (some good, some bad) and always having a new dungeon to conquer with a few friends. I'm all about it. Unfortunately the servers are down and I'm home "sick" from work.
