Cool. My square-enix official page doesn't have the key registered, only the site that I posted in the pic above. Will that get me in? Do I need another code to publish to my S-E official account, or is that the official account structure for German / UK?

Also - yeah - do I need to select Europe / UK for install? What's the next step. I'll come slay things.

Where do you download the client / installer? I did the UK key from the German site and it worked. The attached pic is what I see.

I'm pretty stoked for this. I played XI pretty hardcore for a year or so and really enjoyed it. Played the beta of XIV and was so disappointed that they would even let it out the door like that.

It's a fun game and I played the shit out of DND for hundreds of years. So, good to relive some of that when I can.

God. I watched this video and all I could think was "WoWclone #721" - do they really fucking think "telegraph" rings are that much of a differentiator? Look at the zone design, the character models; it's the same fucking game, all over again - no change. I'm so tired of this shit.

I liked Rift a lot. Mostly because of the hidden candy on the ground. When you find the candy, it makes you feel good. Like that one hill around the canyon zone that's off the grid, but if you climb to the top there's a hidden candy up there. Shit's rad.

What's been surprising to me is the mismanagement of these studios. THQ, 38 Studios; both with moderately to highly successful titles under their belts, yet they just can't seem to keep their shit together or plan appropriately, or enter into the right kinds of agreements with third parties...

I bought a bunch of stuff about a year ago, and logged in yesterday for the first time in a while to find all of it missing, and only two characters - I have to buy (again) and unlock the characters that are level 70-ish, or subscribe. Pass.

I remember playing this when it first dropped. I was getting a little burnt out on EQ and raiding 7 days a week. I remember the graphics were pretty hot, and the gameplay was fun; and that the rest of the game was complete shit, from top to bottom.

The game was easily one of my top-5 last year. I ended up playing it more than I did Skyrim, for a while. Yeah, that's another part of this puzzle that I don't get - I heard that the game did well across the board.

Now if only they had a "Reset" button to clear all of the stats and search form.
