Speaking of raid mobs, is Velious the point where you at least need a group to down the higher end stuff? I got through Veeshans easily with the exception of PD with my 3 box of War/Dru/Brd and haven't tried anything in Vel outside of killing Lodizal which doesn't really count

Nevermind, figured it out. Sirran from island 1 will take the key item from island 7, so you just need to kill the sphinx mobs and then turn in the item to island 1 Sirran. He hooks it up with the key to island 8. Still gotta get to island 7, but at least you aren't fucked otherwise.
