I'm definitely in the minority that think Gurren Lagann wasn't that great. Massively over the top with one of the worst endings in the history of anime. Seriously no one can fuck up an ending like Gainax.

It's a Maeda anime, so of course not. The last episode sure was exciting, but it has frustrating things, unexplained plotlines, and plot holes you could drive a truck though.
