Finally gave this game a try, couldn't make it more than three hours. It's a stripped down ES game with bland gameplay and a complete lack of hook. I don't see why this would be appealing to anyone beyond the lore. Thankfully Steam accepted my refund request.

Considering what happened in that final Jaina/Thrall cinematic, I can totally see them having some kind of "Champion of Azeroth" setting that is basically what merc is to pvp. They seem to kind of be setting up a faction of people in the lore whose purpose is just to save the planet.

I agree. BFA at it's current point is one of the most enjoyable last patch periods of any of their expansions. There's a ton of shit to do. The biggest problem for me was not making Essences account-wide from the start and how ridiculous getting the right corruptions was.

I'm almost certain that we haven't seen the last of nerfs to the process of getting Essences. I also expect them to make getting the cloak powered up a joke a few months out from Shadowlands.

Blood of the Enemy is the worst Essence to get, which is rough because it's amazing on several classes. Worst part about it for me was that no one wanted to run island PVP.

As one of the two people who didn't give two fucks about the original, I find this immensely entertaining.

Most of what you need you'll get passively while "grinding out" current content. If we are now arguing how lame the idea of dailies is, I totally agree. Dailies are pure aids. Just let me grind this shit out at my own pace. And again, only make me do it once, outside of gear.

ah, you're right. It's been a while. I had the dude in the enclosed space who spawned a shitload of little bomb-men. He took a while.

The first boss is oddly challenging for some. The trick is to run out in the open room so that you have space between you and the add spawns. Focus mostly on dodging the little fucks before they explode. No idea what difficulty you guys are playing on, though. This was on Hard, not legendary.

Can't wait, this was an awesome co-op experience(aside from that final boss).
