Yes, that's true. But this is shit we should have been doing from 2015 onward, not doing now, 8 years and a gazillion spending bills and handouts later.

Oh yeah we gotta get rid of the old fucks. People who are too old to have to deal with the consequences of their actions cannot be allowed to govern.

The problem is the extremely limited supply of Legacy dual lands. They'd have to print a bunch of extremely powerful, low mana cost mono-colored cards capable of building a variety mono-colored decks. Basically a bunch of cards that only care about basics and/or snow and/or something else...

I think it's more complicated because there isn't a direct line between the rates and the inflation. Rates having been too low for too long is definitely one reason that inflation was high, but so was the QE, the handouts, the lifestyle changes, a massive war throwing grain and oil prices out...

Yeah, this is true, until recently when things started going back up. AAA PC games were like 39.99 for a while just a few years ago.

Warhammer Online got a lot of things right mechanically but mainly just felt unresponsive to play. There was like 200ms lag on everything you did, and "mythic seconds" where all spells took like 20% longer to cast than they said they should.

Well yes, older formats continue to get more popular on MTGO because more of those cards continually appear on MTGO. Legacy would definitely be more popular if they printed Legacy cards, but owners of those cards don't want that. The reserved list ultimately only hurts the popularity of Legacy...

Everything you've said has been true for 10+ years now. And honestly has been true since "Type 2" was invented over 25 years ago. Also, Standard is one of the least popular paper formats right now. Your logic also doesn't make sense. The only thing WOTC could do to make Legacy and Vintage...

Investments don't go up in a straight line forever. Be glad you got what you got. It's not in WOTC's interest to help you grow your investment, they are just trying to sell cards.

Can't say old Blizzard never had any innovation. D2 was innovative as fuck, everyone has been copying it ever since. SC and WC3 having 3 and 4 factions respectively was also innovative, as was having an all-in-one gaming service of Battle.net. (WC3 was particularly innovative with hero units...

That's not at all what I said. Lions don't despise gazelles lol. Every casual player farmed was ~220 rps each across an 8 man group. High rank players were maybe ~260. We provided tons of ideas to Mythic as to how to build compelling content for different types of players rather than lumping...

Cool, you're agreeing with me. Actual good 8v8ers in that game should be able to kill 40 ungrouped players (maybe 50 if 8-man was Midgard!) even if the players were try-hards, so anyone complaining about interference are fucking jokes.

    Guild Wars 2

Oh you're talking about some weird has-been free-shard player communities. It was not really like that on live servers; the community of RP cow casual PvPers was so large compared to the number of 8man gankers that they could not "blacklist" you from anything. Did 8-mans constantly complain...

This is a horrifically bad take, but I understand where it comes from. Mythic just didn't understand what was good/bad about their own game, I know, being one of the few top-tier PvPers on their internal development boards/paid QA testers. Their developers would constantly try to find ways to...
