When you open it, i saved some on an alt while leveling and opened them at 100 and got item level 700 gear.

Pretty much, EQ combat was boring, i had more fun playing a pulling class or an enchanter because it was more than autoattack + occasional clicks or chaining the same 2 or 3 nukes.

If i understand the mechanics correctly, that's kind of what happens. When you die, you need get a spark of life (this is how they are going to fund the game once it's live). Then your character is reincarnated as a family member or some shit and is little stronger than you last character was...

Yeah, but if i remember correctly, we figured out that you actually didn't need a whole raid's worth of masks to complete the event, it could be done with a lot less but it really sucked.

Yeah, that's my thought, which is a shame because the forgelight engine seems to be pretty badass from what i have seen in PS2 and H1Z1. Would have been nice to have seen a fantasy MMO without the hyperstylized graphix EQN was moving forward with, but now i doubt we will ever see what it could do.

i'm intrigued, graphics look good. Forced first person? Not really a fan of that after all these years of playing MMOs in third person, but that won't stop me.
