I wish I could enjoy FF14. I do enjoy the MMO thing when it works, more than any type of game. But, that aesthetic is just not for me and the combat feels way too wonky compared to WoW(even with the shitty BFA changes).

I think ability bloat in general made pvp obnoxious/bad. When your class had a few things and you ran away from what you were weak against and looked for openings to blow shit up it was a lot more fun. Now it has that gay Guild Wars shit where you endless cycle abilities on one another and wait...

White-knight characters are the hardest type to play. No one likes them. Everyone just likes byronic types because they are flawed and more relatable. I haven't read the books but I imagine that his persona is going to play in to the bigger picture.
