Okay so DOTA2 is my first ever moba game and I've clocked just over 1000 games played at this point, unfortunately I still fucking suck. I'm pretty proficient with basic mechanics at this point like last-hitting and whatnot, and I'm familiar with the whole gamut of heroes and their abilities...

Ender chests have a single player specific inventory that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. So if you have an ender chest that you load up in your home. Then you walk and open the ender chest located at spawn, you will see the exact same items.

So much better with no /spawn and no /back imo. You actually visit other projects and see other players organically. Feels like multiplayer Minecraft instead of singleplayer with chat.

On my local machine, when I create worlds they get a whole folder under %APPDATA%\.minecraft\saves\, and then I open the .dat file with the world name. I assume I need the whole folder that contains the world.

They never even finished programming the basic simulation, so it isn't surprising to see that "extra" features like terraforming are not included in the game. The core game is basically alpha quality with release level graphics and interface tacked on.

This could be cool, I've always wanted to finish the cathedral I started on the first server. Also I wonder what it would be like if we intentionally had a small map where everyone had to build in relatively close proximity to one and other. I remember the original server was extremely dense...

I tend to agree with Fawe, I wouldn't want to risk fragmenting the population; if we get a new server, I'd want to get rid of the existing one, having two does not seem sustainable.

Yeah the width of our aisles sort of necessitated the size, its the only way we could make it all the way to the outermost wall.
