I use a Line 6 Pocket POD Guitar Amp Emulator Line 6 pod for pretty much all my home playing. I either plug in headphones or go directly to my speakers.
I also have a bigger Line 6 amp that I really like when I want to play louder. I always hated rigging up pedals and chaining them together...
Resto is the jam for druids. Take feral affinity and your dps will be good enough to kill any quest stuff you need. The AoE dps can actually be stronger than boomkin and you have way more survivability while out questing. Sometimes if I get into a heroic with a good tank I can be number one dps too.
The stupid part is not that tanking is easy, it's that you implied that the threat change was somehow not retarded because tanking is easy.
And your neck thing is stupid as well. 18 is easy to get, everything after 18 is not.
There must be some outlying condition with taunt generating threat that was buggy or exploitable. I'll bet that you don't actually need the threat from taunt (if you do a proper rotation anyway) and it won't be noticed. It would be nice if they shed some light though as it seems completely...
When I last played tank taunt didn't generate any threat. It actually made mobs fixate on you for a specified amount of time and didn't change threat tables at all. Which is why you could do things like taunt then bop to not lose the mob. Most tanks have a couple of high threat abilities that...
People seem to think shaman is weak and while I'd definitely say it's extra mediocre, my elemental shaman out damages and out utilities both feral and moonkin druid. Now, the bright spot for the druid is resto. Resto with feral affinity is pretty damn fun.
My shaman got 390 legs from the quest and my cursed for loot druid got a 370 cloak. I actually got azerite shoulders on my druid though which replace my last 325 piece so that was nice.
I've enjoyed alliance story. I'll level up horde eventually. The only downside so far is just lack of friends on alliance side. I have enough to do m+ sporadically though which has been pretty fun.
What is your highest neck? 18 aint shit and you are right you can get it pretty quickly. Everything after, takes for fucking ever. I've had an abundance of playtime since this xpac came out. It's probably taken just about 2 weeks to go from 18 to 21. I could easily see being stuck at 19 if I...
It's the same content. They scaled it out though so that quests don't grey and you can do content for that level range in any order. I.e. you could go to hinterlands at level 20 if you wanted and then do ashenvale at level 50. Outland and Northrend both start at 60 and scale to 80 so you can do...
I levelled the druid I'm playing now from 1-120. I didn't find it as turrible as everyone says, but it is definitely A LOT slower then it was 2 expansions ago. 1-60 was generally fun and I finished it in about a week. 60-80 I did entirely in Outland and it was going pretty slow and I got bored...
I wish they had that green stream through Plex. That one works flawlessly through chrome. The red one always has a couple of hitches through any device/app.
Yep, RIP to Mac Miller. He reminded me of one my brothers friends in High School, looks and sounds just like him. Mac was decently talented too. Could play guitar, piano, drums and produced his own beats.
s4u (the new nfl2go) is working mighty nice on Plex through my fire TV. Watched every game I wanted on Sunday and the Monday night games and only had them freeze up on me once or twice. The only thing that does kind of suck is if it freezes you have to back all the way out to your main plex...
I'm mostly in heroic gear, but I also chose to wait for some friends to do m0/+ dungeons. I didn't do any normals, by the time I completed all my questing and first round of WQs I was high enough to jump into heroics. The first few days were a challenge but at 330 ilvl they are pretty trivial...
That's what it's always been about for me. I've done a lot of fun shit in this game being the worst geared guy in the group. I just play as best as I can and have fun.
Finish up those freelance gigs and then focus on looking for jobs that involve those front end frameworks/languages. I mean assuming that is what you want to do. Check with your local government institutions (if you live in a decent sized city or close to the capital) as they usually have a hard...
My oldest son was the same way about listening. He heard but it was very very hard to get him to understand a lot of things. He did grow out of it by 5-6. I always stuck to any consequences I laid out, and made my wife do the same. Some times we over did it out of anger but that was a learning...
Any alliance doing shit tier raiding I could join occasionally? I don't even know if I can commit to a set schedule yet but I'll be that healer you choose over a rando when someone doesn't show.
I'd fight with my wife about it. I also wouldn't compromise but we're also 11 years in so I'm fairly sure my risk of divorce over just games is small. It would have to be a different issue, which would hopefully be smoked out during the fight.
VMWorld has been great for my WoW time. I leave this shit early every day and play wow in my hotel. Maybe it's because I came alone, but I'm not feeling it. Seems like more of the same shit, clouds and more clouds.
I played horde since BC. Playing alliance from 1 to cap actually gave me a couple funs. I also really hate all of the horde models. Worgen and dwarfs are awesome.
I might be misunderstanding... but why can you not access the drive from Ubuntu as it stands? You can either install ntfs-utils or cifs-utils (I'm a RH guy so install whatever the deb equivalent of those packages are) and access windows filesystems as is or over the network from Ubuntu.
I don't really give a shit about the crafted gear because I probably won't ever make or use it... but gear in this game gear is always infinitely more valuable when you have it early. it's kind of like a pocket pair in poker, slow play it and by the river it's probably shit.
I have small hands and those strat necks are like half a baseball. I always just assumed playing lead was not in the cards for me until I played an Ibanez with a wizard neck.
I had a fender mexi strat - which apparently are now considered decent? They are all like $600 and I know I paid maybe $250 for mine brand new back then. Anyway, it was the standard red/white fender colors and I swapped out all the hardware for black hardware and a black pick guard then I...
Good audio is the only redeeming part of a long commute. I actually don't mind a long drive without traffic. It's kind of relaxing. Add in traffic though and fuck all that.
Hopefully by this weekend I'll B F`ing the A. Until then gotta build a garrison. Should I scrub up money to upgrade my looms to 110 or is Legion quick enough without it?
I did a 1.5 hour (each way) commute for almost 2 years. I worked 2nd shift though and 4x10 so I think that's what made it somewhat bearable. If I had to do that 5 days a week during normal hours I don't think I'd have made it more than a couple of months. Especially because that 1.5 hours with...
