Cap going up so much next 3 years should let them be able to make necessary spending at those spots if they're smart. But might not want to just buy a single Cup. Smart trades/spending with some prospect development could set them up to contend for next 5-8 years as McDavid/Drai age.

Fwiw, on leveling characters to 70, defeating Gilgamesh unlocks a couple of the Brutal Challenges in the combat sim, even while still on a non Hard mode playthrough. Can easily get to level 70 on all characters just repeating those challenges.

Looking back, it was Shadowbringers when gap was a little more noticeable for gatherer scrips. Back then top yellow turn in could max out at 52 whereas the top white was 39 I believe. Also until you had good melded gear, it was much easier to hit breakpoints for bonus attempts on the yellow...
