That is actually something that was repeated over and over here as well. The technical execution of the episode was absolutely fantastic. It's just the internal consistency and the actions of each main character that ruined it.

That is the true beauty of this show. They're so inconsistent, so very random with what is happening and so bad at it, that anyone who ever said anything about that show has been wrong at some point. No matter what, at some point they proved you wrong.
