Most of the top players are people who play the physical CCG. Ek0p, Savjz, etc., or such is my understanding from one of the Turn 2 episodes. Basically all the top EU guys.

Gah. I've been at rank 4 and 5 stars five times today! Now I'm back to rank 4 1 star. Just cannot get to rank 3. So frustrating.

Priests really counter Druids. You just need to make more efficient trades and it is difficult to do.

Brawl+Sylvanas is my favorite use of the card. Either my Sylvanas lives, or I get whatever is left on his side of the board. Running into a ton of Warlocks today, I think people are playing rush decks and crossing their fingers hoping to get legendary before the reset. Managed to get back up...

I played vs Murloc rush once today. I played five Warlocks total, three were running giants/control (Veev played it most of yesterday and today, hence the spike), one was running the same kind of deck I am. That is about the same ratio. I won all of them to, a lot of people play Warlock mirror...

I have a ton of games under my belt though. More than at least a couple of people I know who are legendary, one of whom got there playing a deck I gave them (which is frustrating). Maybe it really comes down to luck and hitting my counters a lot, but since there isn't anything I can do about...

    Hearthstone

Frustrating thing for me is I watch a lot of streams of legendary players and have played their decks, played my decks, etc., and when I watch their streams I make the same decision looking at their board that they did. Not sure why I can't get past rank 4.

I don't like Stormforged. Shaman just can't get that behind in life. Warriors have armor, Paladins have healing, Hunters are only using their bows to go to the face, Rogues kind of have the same issue (but they have better class cards). Every time I see a Shaman play Stormforged against me I...

    Hearthstone

Nah, Murloc rush wins that by a long ways. A single legendary you get for free by getting the rest of the deck, and only two Epics. Still experimenting with Shaman. Still a 95% win rate vs Warlocks, 50/50 vs Druids (if I get my Black Knight when I need it, I win, if not, I lose, I've started...

Ran into a pretty interesting Priest deck that is actually running Silence. Ancient Watcher/Argus/Sunfury/Silence for early attack/defending. Runs Voodoo doctors to heal the watchers and put another body on the board. Seems like it'd work really well against Warlock rush, I was playing Shaman...

Three Legenadaries short of a complete set.... King Krush being the only one I have any actual interest in. Millhouse and Norzdomu are not good at all imo. Down to 5 dust though, so still a good ways off. Playing a Shaman deck that is doing really well. 50/50 vs Druid, haven't lost to a...

Alex+Charge+Gorehowl is set to 15, do 15. That is three. Giants is 27 (Giant, Giant, Commander, Brewmaster) or 30 (Giant, Brewmaster, Brewmaster, Commander). You can also do stuff like put a Faceless in. It gets all the buffs, so you can Charge/Inner Rage something like a Worgen and then copy...

    Hearthstone

Yeah, the fact that you can fit three potential OTKs into one Warrior deck is pretty brutal. One requires 3 cards, the opponent have no taunts, and no armor. One requires you be at ~13 or less health and 4-5 cards, and one just requires 4 cards. The first and third ones require a "prep" turn to...

This will never happen for technical reasons. RPGs have longer lead times on development. They are still coming out on the PS3 because that was the only possibility when development started.

It is in their, admittedly expensive, book. Really it is buy PID, follow directions on hooking up PID to the electric cable of heating element (be that a rice cooker, a crock pot, a water proof coil of some kind, whatever). That is the only hard part. @Deathwing: Fair point.

    Hearthstone

Yeah, there is a large difference between having a deck list and playing a deck. Nigh everyone I run into at rank 5 is running some streamers/legendary guy/etc deck. Some of them play it incorrectly and lose.

He was right. Intramuscular fat starts to render at ~124-127. It lubricates the fibrils ("fibers") of the meat, making it taste juicier, and delivering any fat soluble flavor compounds to the tongue. Of course this is true regardless of slow or fast heat, so long as you get it into that temp...

Rare/medium-rare. So 125-135 F. Takes about ~45 minutes, but you can leave them in there forever with a good temp control. They can't ever overcook (one of the high points of sous vide). It can get more complicated, like poultry is cooked to 160 because at 160 everything just dies, but if...

    Which warrior OTK deck?

    Gravy's Cooking Thread

Yep. Also works with cheap rice cookers. For optimal results, add in an aquarium pump to move the water around. Heating element+PID (thermometer/temp control thing)+acquarium pump+pot = sous vide cooker for like $50. Just put food in plastic bag, suck out as much air as you can. Modernist...

    Too many games?

I don't think this is a "problem" that needs a "solution." My backlog of games is even larger than yours and I don't fuss about it. I always have something to play when I have time. If a game stops being fun, I stop playing it. Since I probably bought it for like $4, this doesn't bother me.

Arena counts for the quests, so you could try drafting Druid or Hunter. And yeah I abandon any 40g quest hoping for an upgrade.
  27. T

    Hearthstone

^That. Cannot emphasize enough that you should use your gold to do arena. It helps you learn the game and you are always going to get at least a pack from it, which is 100 gold anyway, so you're paying 50 gold for a chance to practice/learn the game and (if you win) some bonus things.

The 5 qt is the professional model. There is a piece in the artisan made of plastic/nylon that is made of metal in the professional series. For normal work it makes zero difference, but with really stiff/heavy doughs or near capacity batches, it can break. Bear in mind the kitchen aid...

    Hearthstone

Christ, rank 5 again. If anyone wants to hit legendary, figure out a deck that can beat Druid late/ramp/taunt/heal and agro Warlock. That is basically all you run into after rank 6. Oh, and Rogue (because it does well vs Warlock agro but not vs Druid).
  32. T

    Hearthstone

Wisp is actually not the worst pick for Rogue (combos, especially if you get zero back stabs). I just had a Shaman Lava Burst by 3/5 with taunt.... he still had 28 health. Weird. Screwed him for his next turn to, he played nothing.
  33. T

    Hearthstone

I dunno, every time I get to rank 4 with Warlock (of either variation) I slowly lose back to rank 7, then rank back up. People know how to deal with it past rank ~5 or so. Murloc beats regular Warlock 70/30 though, so that is a point in its favor for mirrors, but it is slightly weaker vs Druids...

Well, starting from rank 20, you can basically half the population each rank. Win streaks make this slightly inaccurate, but considering we're really just going for a rough estimate doesn't matter. So if there are a million people in the NA beta, there are about a thousand people at rank 10. I...

Rank 4 (again). I think tomorrow I may just go at it till I hit rank 1, at least. I really find I've gotten better at the game. Which cards to play when. I did make two errors today that were pretty bad, imo. One was Paladin played turn 1 Argent Squire. I shot it with Elven Archer and ended...

PSP has an RGB out, you can play it on a big screen and just use it as a controller. I played most of the best hand held games on an emulator. The games are good. The portability isn't the selling point, I played 99% of time sitting in front of my TV watching something while using my DS and do...
