Mages are back today. Running minion rush+burn to finish, which wasn't nerfed at all. Also no one in the higher ranks is running that version of the Warlock rush deck. Very few are running anything over 4 mana for Warlock rush. Arcane Golems are now pretty common. 14 1 drops is pretty...

OTK - Deck Guide - Hearthstone I added an Inner Rage in place of one Far Seer. Basically it allows for 2 more damage, which nicely deals with Druids and Warriors who armored up. I also tried a variant that had both the Molten Giants Charge combo and the Alex+Charge+Gorehowl Combo in it. I've...

Mages were already losing to heal decks. People play what they are told is OP. Plus I imagine a lot of people leveled their Mage to 60 and changed classes just because of that, whether they wanted to keep playing it or not. The Mage nerf brought back Warlock agro something fierce though. So...

Drifting around rank 4 atm. I drop back to 5 whenever I experiment with a deck and it takes a few games to refine it, then I get right back up to rank 4 and stay there. Can't quite seem to push through. Working on Shaman, Paladin, and Warlock atm. Also when I get bored I play that OTK Warrior...

Playing around with a Hunter deck I saw a rank 5 guy playing (though I only saw him play it, didn't see the list). Basically Leper Gnomes, Bow, Secrets, Secret Keeper, and you just go for the face with your bow while playing delay (because every time a secret gets revealed you get another...

And rank 4, 2 stars. So far I've been stopping when I can no longer make gold from the wins. Which happens a lot faster with an agro deck, short games are making me really happy after basically 80% of my games ran to fatigue on Priest and Druid.

Considering I am 10 cards (not counting Blizzard/Cone of Cold because I figured I'd get them pack in packs and am not playing Mage till I hit 60 on everything else) from a complete set, disenchanting it isn't high on my priority list. I did disenchant the non-golden version I already had.

I imagine a lot of people hitting legendary are doing it with Warlock. Because strong deck and also fast games. Makes the grind faster when you're eeking your way up there are like a 60-70%% win rate. Plus bonus stars from streaks stop at rank 5. Differences from from his are no Doomguard, no...

    Hearthstone

No, different Warlock. Surprised that Warrior deck isn't running the ridiculous draw engine of Pyromancer+Acolyte+Commanding Shout+Battle Rage (which results in 2 pings on the Acolyte and 3 cards from Battle Rage for a minimum of 5 cards drawn).

It is weird to me that they aren't listening to any of the advice from the top players... like balancing arena via rarity is a fantastic idea for certain annoying cards that are fine in high level constructed, but if you get a deck full of them in arena it just sucks. But they just passed up...

    Hearthstone

I think it combines with the thing Kripp said. Ranking up is a matter of getting lucky by not running into your counter decks, but I think individual ranks have their own meta that defines how often that'll happen. So the best way of ranking up is to play the deck that is going to beat, on...

    Hearthstone

Kripp said something pretty interesting on his stream... he thinks ranking up is primarily a matter of dodging the strong counters to your deck, especially for ranks 9-18 or so. So whatever deck you make is just going to lose in certain match ups, but if you get lucky and don't queue against...

    Hearthstone

Running a deck with almost nothing but legendaries is a thing. Usually people do it as Druid, for Innervates. You can Innervate an Alarm-o-Bot turn 1 and get a turn 2 Deathwing (without the Battlecry!). It actually does surprisingly well when it works, because most people don't run enough cards...

Since I am 60 on my Mage and don't plan on playing it till the other classes are capped out, D/Eed the changed cards. I am sure I'll get them back in packs before I have to play it again. Still working on laddering as Priest. Fluctuating between rank 9-10.

I think he meant the equation wasn't true. Which it isn't, it fails to accurately account for several observed phenomenon that you need relativity to account for. Orbit of Mercury being the big one they usually teach you about. But then it was only ever meant to be descriptive...

D/E if you want to play constructed a ton and don't care about golden cards. Keep if you care about golden cards. If you keep playing you'll get them all eventually. Craft Rag first though. Thalnos is good, but not Rag good. Drafted THREE Truesilver Champions in a fucking strong deck, went...

Surprisingly little of that lately. Like Druid decks are currently running Big Game Hunter, Sylvanas (who isn't), Tinkmaster (who isn't) Thalnos (ditto), but otherwise are basically running all Druid-specific cards. Control Mages run all Mage-specific cards outside of Alexstraza, card draw...

Shaman and Priest really need some kind of burst healing option. Holy Fire isn't sufficient. I started running two Far Seers in both my Shaman and Priest decks and the difference was pretty big vs Mages. It isn't quite enough to counter burn even with both in hand, but it is better.

Flour should always be done by weight, not volume. That'll easily lead to inconsistent results. Bread isn't difficult, just finnicky. Unlike cooking where you can add a little of this, a little of that, baking is more like carpentry. Measure everything, then measure it again. If you're a...

Omitting salt from bread will make it taste a little like cardboard. You're not blooming your yeast. Since you aren't using fresh yeast, that is going to be an issue. No second rise is a problem. That is some really wet dough. Bread is usually 60-75% hydration.

Man Priest just feels so weak. Been trying a bunch of different decks and it just can't seem to keep up. It loses to burn Mage without the burst-y healing that Paladins/Druids have. Closest thing is Holy Fire and that is not enough most of the time. I went on a streak with a weird Rogue deck...
