You've got to ride the wave of variety in consistency my friend. That well cooked outside with a nice crunch in the center. It's not my favorite pasta but there is a place for it in my kitchen.

penne is great, but diversity is our strength. Ex: I'm a big fan of farfalle because the the variety of consistency where the center is a bit harder gives the dish a lot more depth.

Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

Looks good to me. I think they could try a little harder to make the art look a bit like Baldur's Gate, but that art style was fairly generic anyway, so that's a bit tough. Any difficult BG combat was effectively turn-based. Real-time combat in BG was basically an illusion or the combat was so...

    Diablo 4 / IV / IIII / Fore / Cope / Seethe

I had the most fun in Diablo3 in the first week when it came out and the gear was exponentially better the harder the game got, making optimal players struggle against ridiculously difficult content that one-shot them. It was way better than what it turned into where you just breezed through...

Science!! Fucking magnets, how do they work?

https://news.utexas.edu/2020/01/30/bacteria-engineered-to-protect-bees-from-pests-and-pathogens/ Great, science is making super-bees that will be resistant to raid and be able to do calculus. But seriously, great for them. I don't know if this is that substantial, but I'm confident that we'd...

    Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

I don't really have an opinion about early access, but I've been bouncing between warband and bannerlord recently and man bannerlord is a huge upgrade engine wise. All the same fun mechanics and gameplay is there, but everything is way cleaner, way smoother, way prettier and way faster. The...

    Kenshi - A Sandbox RPG

What advantages do you think ogre has over unreal for kenshi? I've worked moderately with both engines, and unreal beats the shit out of ogre in every kenshi related aspect i can imagine. I figure the devs are all to glad to ditch ogre.

    Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

It really is astonishing that the modding scene is as active as it is. Warband's modability is almost an afterthought. It's crazy that still in 2020 one of the most mod-friendly engines is the Infinity Engine made for Baldur's Gate in 1998.
