My favorite moments of world PvP since warmode was launched was one shotting noobs. What's yours ... Honestly, what's compelling about Warmode? If you want slightly better rewards, you have to flag for PvP. You can't turn it off without going to a city though so if some dude in your dungeon...

World PvP is never and has never been compelling in WoW. It's been a zerg gankfest or 120s one shotting new players. There is no real in between. Warmode is probably the worst mechanic they have come up with in years.

Or just pony up the cash if you care that much.

And Visions are not time gated. They are able to be farmed 24hrs a day. Visions is only a good way to farm essences if you already have them. Trying to farm them is dumb. You get a ton just by doing the content you find fun.

Tides of Time is a slick two player drafting game that's not too complex. Roll Through the Ages is another one that can be super fun and it's just a repackaged Yahtzee with some flair.

I've worked Gencon a number of times for a bunch of different companies. The millions of dollars that changes hands that weekend is staggering.

I looked at that one as well. They have like 6 kickstarters out there right now so I am worried they will eventually bite off more than they can chew. In these uncertain times, depending on China to come through for all of your projects is a stretch.

If someone can't be bothered at this point to look at a dps meter, making it a stock thing isn't going to change that.

That's a pretty straw man argument. I don't know how WoW is coded but putting some abilities on special timers for content and not others seems much more difficult from a coding standpoint than their current stance of all.

It might not be easy to code it like that. That sounds like a pretty daunting task and all would be much easier from a coding standpoint. @Ukerric - leveling wasn't fun in any MMO. We just didn't know better. You can still get together with 4 friends and grind mobs in WoW to level like it...

Look at the way people used to raid versus how they do now. The player base has certainly learned tons of different ways to improve how they play.

You get the base one pretty quickly. The companion EXP is meh but it's grindable through drops. I thought everyone on these boards wanted everything grindable through drops!

It's basically where it was with Legion right? You can buy essences with currency. The time gating on all quests was removed. You can grind the currency to open visions. What else do you want?

Took me like an hour on my third cloak. Someone here pointed out you can skip all but 1 instance by just talking to the quest giver again. As far as level, you can get unlimited currency now so the level will depend on how you want to grind. I don't want to grind so it's probably 3 weeks to...

The cloak is already pretty easy but I wouldn't doubt we see more accessibility coming in.
