Could very well be what happened. Had a large lag when I landed in Suramar, abilities not working, couldn't even camp out. Had to force close the game and that's when shit didn't want to work when I launched back the game.

Tried it this way one time too, still gave me tooltips saying "+1 to one Artifact Trait". Maybe an issue with ElvUi then.

That's what I did. Only issue is that when you do it you don't see which bonus trait is given in the quest UI if you change your loot spec.

By the way, was anyone surprised by the cost increase on artifact traits? At first it goes up reasonably, by small increments. Until it gets from 1000AP/point to 6840 for the next one. I was like, WTF?

I wouldn't have an issue with it if it was something like "do a mission, then a quick quest, then another mission" and so on. I understand why they gate that shit. But the way they did it is like "Here, wait two days." Oh, and don't get me started on the "get Honored with the Nightfallen...

The part of the DH campaign I'm in suck donkey balls. The quest objective is "Do these 6 order hall missions". Of course, each one is like 8 hours, and they only appear once after the other. That's basically time gating.

Had insta queue as a dps while leveling, but hitting 110 has changed things, at least for the not scaled dungeons. Tried queuing for Violet Hold (which is 105-110, not even 110 only) and it said the average time in queue was 53 minutes. Will be better when more people hit 110 though.

Started with Azsuna and found the zone awesome. So full of character and quest were fun. In Highmountain at the moment, definitely find it more boring.

I think the goal is to have 100% uptime of voidform during the whole encounter, never dropping to 0 insanity (because then voidform ends). You can let yourself die after the boss is dead hehe. Edit : Derp, didn't see but the thing has a duration of 3 minutes only, damn. Anyway, just came back...

Yup, you still one shot normal mobs when it procs and it can do between 20/50% on elite. You can be unlucky and have a long streak without procs from time to time though.
