One of the things that probably helped was his art style was influenced by artists like Hieronymus Bosch, so it wasn't typical anime style. You should really give the manga a shot if you have the slightest interest in it. It was the first manga I ever read and it's glorious.

Just pulling this out of my ass, but maybe it's because the PS5 is outputting 4k and the PS3 is only doing 1080p. The TV could then be upscaling that 1080p picture.

I've got a Schiit Hel and it uses USB as well. It's basically the Modi/Magni consolidated into one device. I've only used it for headphones though so I don't know if it would be as good running normal speakers.
