CTF seems very contrary to their "shorter games" mantra considering CTF matches are the slowest fucking FPS-Team maps in existence and since it's a symmetrical conflict there's not much way of speeding it up.

I mean part of the problem is the sheer cacophony of numbers and stats that go into making a build "viable" now. Jade Harvester's was fine for S3 and T6 but it just doesn't hold up now. You could maybe just multiply the numbers some but there's no guarantee with all the interactions out there...

What were the reactions in the beta? This is Treyarch and can get it for $40 on GMG so actually tempted by this. Turned off by the fact that I'm busy all weekend and FO4 comes out Tuesday though....

A lot of the streamers seemed to be using the in-game push-to-talk voice for their team and just chatting normally with their viewers. I tend to avoid the more... annoying... streamers though.

Kind of looks like a digital version of those old cut-out doll scenes. There's the backdrop and then some characters randomly scattered in front that just don't fit very well. But, that's a still, so who knows. It really looks janky though.

Yea on paper it's easy. I think it's the only WD weapon I haven't seen an ancient version of. At this point though, I finally just finished Conquerer today and have no desire to get Guardian. I'd have to delete a character to make room for the hardcore anyway.

Acid cloud is probably easier because your Grin Reaper Mimics make way better use of that than random bear casts. Among other reasons :P Ancient Scrimshaw + Henri's is reaaaaalllllyyyyy strong though, but fuck trying to get ancient scrimshaw.

That's not exponential really, it's basically linear wrapped in the dumb 18/00 sub numbers. If you flattened 18/XX into normal numbers it'd look mostly the same as every edition of D&D since where it is super linear :P There's no reason to throw exponential gains into a stat system like this...

I'm like 90% sure that's not technically a complete list, because I believe some of the perks have special traits they add at the last level / interim levels of the perk, although I could be mistaken. It's a good start though for sure.

Yea keep in mind there's no more skill points, so being able to do shit looks like it is heavily tied to perks. So taking +1 agility is almost certainly a tiny bonus compared to any of the agility perks you're already entitled to unless you NEED that 9 or 10 for the perk you want. Remains to be...

I clicked on a random streamer like 2 pages down the list and sure enough, was a better person than the top 10 streamers and more competent than any except the FPS pros. I'm sure every game is filled with that sort of thing though.

Yea once I can play I'll probably binge out on Tracer for a while, and support of choice would probably be Symetra or whatever her name is. All the tanks besides Reinhart seem kinda meh.

Composition definitely matters but also looks super flexible because of the diversity of the classes. All the supports have bonkers strong abilities but are weak as hell on their own, so you if you have too many of them you're boned despite the power of their abilities.

It sounds more like: Each area has a level range. It is hard-coded in the game, but dynamically scales within that range to you. So Cave 1 has a range of 5-10, Cave 2 is 10-15, etc. and it's just hard coded that way. That is very similar (but I would say better) than Skyrim/FO3

Honestly if I could refund it I probably would. It's just L4D with worse melee than Dark Messiah of M&M or any number of other games. There's a bunch of potential here so maybe I'll play it more if they improve it or change it up a bunch.

Chests can randomly have extra dice in them. And yes, if you're playing solo, only one tome per mission. They stack in multiplayer though so if everyone walks out with one you're in pretty good shape.

I hated Dead Money because I didn't want to play a different game, I wanted to play Fallout. The premise was interesting and the design of the Sierra Madre was cool but I basically did everything I could to bypass the gameplay of that one.

The only non-white drop I've gotten so far are blue pistols, which don't have particularly appealing traits (chance at faster attack speed or 40% less spread). Also I'm generally not very good at fighting ogres :P

With mods in the picture I would agree, NV is better, but straight out of the box with no mods I'd say it's pretty much a wash, they end up being fairly different. NV also has significantly more bugs without player patches as well although I don't know how many ultimately matter.

I really like the Kindle jungle and Mord bot concept, it rounds out the team pretty nicely. Although you could always do Varus/Corki mid too.

Did they fix the bug with the cubing items yet? I have something like 52 effects cubed and still no credit for the 25 cubed items one.
