Exactly. It was a tight fit on my other monitor, but those rounded corners on the LG make it not fit at all. Either I need stand offs and longer screws or I need to grind off some of the outside of the VESA mount.

I have the dual monitor NB arm you had recommended and the VESA bracket is bigger than on my old arm. It was always a very tight fit in my other monitors, but the way the corners are rounded on the LG keeps it for fitting at all. Might have to see about grinding outer corner of the bracket down...

So my LG 27GL83A arrived today. Didn't have much time with it before I had to go to work, but it is significant upgrade over my old 1080p TN panel Acer. My main issue so far has been I had to dig out my old cheapass monitor arm. The recess for the VESA bracket on the LG doesn't have enough...

Legends is a separate multiplayer (though you can at least play some of it solo) mode that does not affect the single player game. Things you have done in single player do unlock at least some cosmetics in Legends though.

The only good thing I have to say about that game is Greiss played well and kept them in the game until the last few minutes. Getting outshot 43-14 is pretty damn bad.

It's definitely overkill, but nice. Setup was about as close to idiot proof as you can get. Had a couple random reboots the first 2 days until it finally pulled down a firmware update that it missed during setup and has been rock solid since.

That used to be the case, but Newegg changed their policy so it's all or nothing on bundles now. I'm guessing they got tired of everyone returning everything other than the GPU since the purpose of the bundles is to get rid of non GPU stock.

That has been the main one I've been looking at. I regret not picking it up when I saw it dip down to 325 6 months ago. I probably would grab it now if I didn't just buy new drives for my NAS.

Yeah, the Asus is one of the monitors on my radar, but I'm holding out for a proper HDR monitor that won't break the bank. That's unlikely to happen, but I can dream.

Yep, that's why I'm not in a hurry to replace it, especially since I'm still at 1080p. I can keep looking for the right 1440p monitor while I wait.

Swapping new drives in to my NAS and for a while it said it was going to take 872 hours to rebuild the array, and that was just the first disk. Turns out it's not a high priority task by default, so once I changed that it dropped to 9 hours.

At this point I hope to replace my 1080ti by the end of the year, but I'm not optimistic. Fuck these new prices though.

Storage is cheap enough that everyone holds on to as much data as possible just in case it might be useful in the future.
