    World of Warcraft: Current Year

It must be really hard balancing a new raid content for 99.9% of the WoW playerbase while giving bottlepissers a knack on. Right now I don't think the raid progress model is an outrage: casuals get the LFR tour, semi-casuals get NM, HM and could tickle some mythic bosses after a while, serious...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Maybe it's because nowadays there are people who need to have a constant feed of information while playing. People doing their Nazjatar dailies while watching a stream, farming Mechagon rares while watching a movie / TV show, listening a podcast or whatever. In my guild the 16-25 years olds...

    Alita: Battle Angel (2018)

I didin't like it at all. Most characters felt cardboard dummies and setup was kind of interesting but seriously lacked background writing. CGI was subpar for a $200m blockbuster and production probably cut a lot of somewhat interesting scenes. I'd rather watch a spinoff featuring the...

Limit playing on NA from EU during raid progress, it's gonna be interesting to see that, latency-gameplay wise. Also Redbull got a nice host lineup with both Rich Campbell and Nagura.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

WoW is textbook "the story serves the game" lore, I'm still baffled seeing people wondering about where the story goes like it's some elaborated spiderweb of mysteries.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Just wait next year to see Cyberpunk 2077 become the new trendy thing and most studios frowning upon the hype (lol scifi) while Netflix somehow buy the rights and make it a nogender LGBTQ+ womyn haven with the next hot tranny as a main character, your Roomba as the AI antagonist and some random...

    The Witcher

Netlfix's The Witcher is a typical "hang up the star and let's save on the rest" production, once you've secured one / two A list actors there's no way you're gonna hire more A listers unless you want to start to cut costs / recast if more seasons happen. If the show fails there's no question...

Paris’ Biggest Mystery: The Man With the Iron Mask It's really frustrating because that guy was in a "there are lots of ways to make you disappear / die really fast, let's just imprison you for 30 years instead" limbo.

    World of Warcraft: Classic

I think it's not about how fast they could do it, it's about why they'd care. Method raiding guild, not the affiliated streamers, are all about beating new mechanics and discovering boss encounters, being on edge while having the most optimized setup ever. Classic has no new mechanics to beat...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Connected realms / Cross-server Zones (CRZ) was Blizzard's WoW anti server merge tech. Nowadays MMO market wise, announcing server merges is like closing Starbucks franchises or relocating company employees, there's no way you can spin it on a positive way. It's a "previous generation" curse...

They said they'll remove "layering", semantics aside there's definitely gonna be a "connected realms" sharding tech at some point, especially when past the release hype train trend. We all know server merging is a taboo and no one wants to play on that "past release" dead server.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

It's always the same thing, people went through most of WoW easily accessible content, want more easily accessible content to discover and don't care about anything else. It's 2019, you're not bound for life to any MMO, just play whatever you want, the whole refugee thing is just a gimmick for...

    World of Warcraft: Classic

Layering / sharding will never leave, they've already said they won't split Classic realms per language and layersharding will be around to keep low pop servers alive once the release population rush dries up.
