Well, I am still watching this. I don't think the show can figure out if its a comedy or a drama, and if it is trying to do both it is kinda managing to fail at both. The stakes don't feel high enough to care about it being a drama and it isn't quite funny enough to make me laugh at the...
Every episode has shown VV progressing from kinda legit businessman back to mobster. We have seen whoever is targeting VV get more bloody. We have seen character development from all the characters. We have the mayor involved in more and more shady shit and how he is directly trying to shut down...
By the first episode, we knew someone was killing associates of VV and it involved mutilation of the body.
So basically the same fucking shit we knew after s1e1. Stop being a douchenozzle and expecting the show to drop all the information immediately. Plenty of shit has been happening these...
This is all on you Hodj. The ignorance that he will spread, the time he will waste, the people like Edge that he will manage to convince. It is all on you. If there be a creator or all-powerful being, may he judge you this day. I curse thee in the name of all rationality as it goes away, that...
Also, he IS under investigation and his superiors are actively covering for him as long as he does their dirty work. All of which makes it even more plausible.
This is definitely my thoughts on the matter. I really wish we could move on from the comparisons and talk about this season, but I can't be fucked to bother here since the mods won't stop Popsickle's shitposting.
No it isn't. You can certainly look at people possibly lying about their income and then compare that to other countries and see how it compares. If the data from Greece is wildly far away from what is happening in other countries and also happens to not even pass the laugh test (on average...
I don't know why you bother arguing with him Fana. He really believes the above narrative. That his utter handwaving, attributing every positive motive to dubious things, attributing every error on her part to an honest mistake, every shortcut as reasonable is a fair take. He even buys her every...
Pretty much this. People aren't reluctant to bail out Greece because they are bad people, or want Greece to fail or want to force Greece to leave. They are reluctant because no one wants to lend money to a bad debtor unless you have ironclad assurances that they will pay it back or that someone...
Yeah, Utnayan threatened him with a F-14 strike and some tank ground forces I believe. Duppin reported it and went to the mod thread to complain. Dude was seriously worried.
Ridas, you seem to see the fact he sticks to this thread as a mitigating factor for his annoyance with reporting. I think it makes it worse. He hides in the shaw to shitpost (where reporting him would do nothing) while spamming reports on other people he doesn't like. That is just silly weak shit.
Guy is probably trying to get a deal with the feds by accusing Jared (whether or not he did anything). Seems insane that he might still have anything on his computers at this time though, if he was into it.
I think it is pretty clear that Mist likes to be miserable. That she likes to be able to point out to others that her life sucks. She isn't going to change it because she seems to fucking crave the situation. Of course, this is just all yet another reason that she just really needs therapy.
Just finished this. Really enjoyed it. Yeah, it kinda goes out of its way to be "inclusive", but so what? More character-driven than anything else, but great acting, great production qualities and the action that is there is quite good.
I disagree. Nerfing warsong commander to a battlecry would be removing entire win conditions from the deck. Nerfing Battle Rage would simply make you replace the draw with less efficient draws. Grim Patron isn't super overpowering, too big of a nerf and you end up with a nonviable deck.
"not because they are easy, but because they are hard"
Bravo for them trying to do this. As Iannis said, even the failures will drive technology forward.
Making a card 100% trash is better than making an entire deck trash. Pretty much any of the warsong com nerfs mentioned would make the entire deck non-competitive. If anything, we need MORE variety in competitive play, not less.
Kibler's idea at least would possibly leave the deck intact...
Yeah, the non-bullshit explanation is that he was wearing a bulletproof vest. While bulletproof vests tend not to be bulletproof in practice, they actually do a great job at stopping shotgun blasts.
There were quite a few really memorable "quiet" scenes I enjoyed this episode.
Vince Vaughn's creepy monologue that you mentioned.
The conversation in the car starting with the robot dick and ending with "How compromised are you"
Velcoro almost breaking down talking to his wife about their...
At least to me, being a big fan of the book, I think they nailed it with this miniseries. I am curious how non-book readers take it though, as quite a lot is going on and it might be confusing for them.
Either way, can't recommend this enough really. Check it out!
No one is going to shoot a guy with a bean bag.
However, if it was a shotgun with any real ammunition, then someone has to immediately be available to stop the guy from finishing him off with another shot (or noticing he has a vest on and no blood is showing) and to call an ambulance. My...
