At this point why not delay it until it's done since we're already a year and a half back from original date. If it drops in the midst of Lost Ark, FFXIV expac/hype and other end of year releases I doubt it even hits the couple months of fun most are expecting out of it at launch.

I think for me it's the fact it starts to feel very safe with some progress while in most of the other games I am always worried about dying while exploring and the waste of time that comes with it which is something I have a love/hate relationship with since it requires staying pretty focused...

Having done ARR and Heavensward recently the MSQ flows pretty well. The Dragonsong War -> Stormblood transition was pretty bleh though. Couldn't wait to be done with Ishgard.

Personally don't care. This isn't a game where you're fighting over resources or where players are starved for choice by any stretch in any content. Though stuff like boosts/gear catch up is closer to pay to convenience than pay to win and I think is fairly healthy for MMOs on end of life...

I still don't get how other games haven't matched WoW crispness in combat even with the idiotic batching in classic it was still better than 99% of MMOS.

WoW is still first preference overall as that is where the people that I play with are and TBC launch is going to be fun. Plus having another MMO to play during the inevitable lull of P1 TBC will be nice and keep things top of mind going into the next FF expansion which I'm 100% going to play...
