It's too bad it only focuses on the 'gold' part of the hacking. Would be nice if it went after the land hacks too which would of freed up the land. It also doesn't seem like it affects things that were bought with this gold (like apex and workers comp).

Pretty much this. When you start to question why you are logging in anymore, then the fun is gone. This game is designed for large scale warfare but it's not like you have huge sea battles going on every night.

Nothing wrong with PvP, it's just the PvP in this game isn't very good. First most don't seem all that interested in participating in it and even when it's there, it's not really all that rewarding.

You just said the key word there. Dedicated. The fact of the matter is your average player is not. Hell, your average guild is not. At some point smaller and even larger guilds who have no coordination/dedication are just going to up and quit because it's only so much fun banging your head...

It's been going on long enough now (and not just with the housing hacks but gold sellers in general) that the economy is fucked on most servers. That's pretty bad for a game that is highly dependent on the in-game economy.

There's longevity but the game is highly dependent on others playing (namely your guild). If your in a smaller guild and people stop playing, you'll burn out quick unless you join another larger guild . One thing that's distressing is way too many players are playing this game...
