    Dr. Mario's Retard Rehabilitation Program

You poor oppressed creature. Anyway, your poll was stupid and a false choice. There is no rational reason why you can't have a voice on this forum and Hodj still be a mod. It might even be healthy for you to learn to control your impulses a bit.

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

Never used either of those, though heard of Kaedrin's PRC. Is Wulverheim worth firing up now? The original campaign for NWN2 was horrible, but I remember Mask of the betrayer somewhat fondly (after I modded to slow down the decay shit).

It doesn't allow it now, but the law as originally written was specifically designed to protect people like the bakery couple who refused a person a cake as soon as they found out the person was gay. Baking a cake for a wedding shows no more endorsement of it than filling the gas tank of a car...

While there is no doubt that the degree and effect of Jim Crow laws is worse, this "religious freedom" law is designed to do as much as legally allowed today to try and accomplish the same thing. To allow the majority in areas to discriminate and shun minorities under the protection of laws...

Btw, I completely agree with Hodj's position on this, though not your attempt to strawnoomba it. Again Siddar, could you choose to find men attractive and then start dating them? If at one time you made one choice, to like women, surely you can make another choice?

If homosexuality is a choice, then at some point in time you decided to be straight. That means, right now, you could decide to find men sexually attractive. Do you really think you could do this?

    Indiana...Religious Freedom eh? *sigh*

It all kinda goes back to Furry saying he is a big believer in personal choice. What we didn't know was, that this philosophy is so important to him, that he has decided EVERYTHING is about personal choice and if that contradicts science or facts, the facts themselves must be wrong. We have had...

I do like armor being DR, it makes a lot more sense than DnD armor, where you keep getting missed but when you get hit you take full damage.

He doesn't even need to take a class on it, he can just, you know, talk to pretty much any gay person. I have never met a gay person that implied anything at all of it being a choice. Hell, or talk to straight people. Who "decided" to be straight? I find women attractive, I don't find dudes...

Maybe that is the disconnect. When Furry says he is gay, what he really means is he is a gay furry. Which probably has no connection with homosexuality. So he sees it as a choice. When he was going through the furry costume catalog, the gay furry costumes just happened to be cheaper so he...

Shunning someone is an act. These people are deciding to treat gays differently than everyone else they deal with. Stop with the pedantic bullshit, we aren't autistic Dumar's so it isn't going to fly.

    Indiana...Religious Freedom eh? *sigh*

Furry, for the 10th time in this thread, equates "hating someone" with "acting on that hate". These are dramatically different things and no one outside of him thinks they are the same thing or should be treated the same. It is fucking tedious how often he does this, gets called out on it...

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

I think PoE ends up with more interesting stat decisions than DnD. However, the armor thing definitely is a balance issue. I feel like any character not in plate is making a mistake.

Yeah, that cartoon is pretty fucking stupid. The KKK is a hate-group that used to lynch blacks. The group doing the hating is the person trying to buy the cake in the cartoon. In the actual thing we are talking about, the gay person tries to buy a cake from a group that hates him, so the...

The sequence should go 1) Enter town 2) See Aloh in front of inn, recruit him 3) Go into inn, rest, talk to eder, then go run underneath the tree and you suck her spirit or whatever and start talking 4) Then you can recruit eder Really nothing else to it, so if you did all that...

Literally the entire point of the law is to allow businesses to shun homosexuals. All the politicians pushing for those types of laws want it, started pushing it because of shit like the bakery getting in trouble for discrimination. Don't pull an Araysar with the whole "well derp, I read the...

This thread depresses the fuck out of me. As a very pro-gun liberal, whenever gun control comes up, these dumbfucks end up being "on my side" of that issue. All they do though, is drive more liberals away from guns and manage to taint the whole idea of personal freedom, changing it to some weird...

Yes, we know you aren't "okay" with it. Like all doctrinaire libertarians, you see almost all exercises of government power as equal and also pretty much all bad, even though they clearly are not. That isn't a view that is ever going to hold sway. It is by its very nature an extreme point of...

Okay, whatever they did to ciphers sure didn't nerf them enough. Reducing the number of rests you can do nerfs mages/druids, but has...
