Slardar doesn't really surprise me, he's pretty squishy and I don't think there are (m)any cases where you'd choose him over Centaur. CM also dropped off the map a few months ago so /shrug To me the surprising two are KotL and to a lesser extent Bloodseeker who seems a good counter to Slark...
So I got a new macbook pro from work, as I'm not an OSX user the first thing I did was install Windows. I thought given win8.1 is supposed to handle DPI scaling with multiple monitors I thought it might work out better than Win7.
Overall the experience still sucks from when I ditched Win8...
To me the eastern players have no personality, or more specifically the language barrier prevents it from coming through. I guess someone could be a fan of a teams style (though I would argue other than DK the lack flare), I think most of the team fans are band wagoners just like Alliance had...
I think its important to remember he's building Drow to maximize the bonus damage for the team as opposed to be the sole carry. That said, I find it puzzling to go butterfly before manta with all the magic damage.
I don't think (hope!) that Ogre Magi is the issue, just the draft as a whole...
There is actually a bizarro world where 5 teams finish 10-5. Though it does involve Alliance and Arrow winning against the current top-2. Realistically VG is guaranteed top2, EG I think is on the fence, they've looked good but obviously DK is always hard and I still can't bring myself to write...

The Fnatic vs Alliance game had some interesting radiance abuse. Fnatic had Lone Druid along with morphling, they'd move radiance onto the druid before creating replicants then use those to safely push the lanes which also gave morph more farm. Druid was also grabbing illusion runes and...
Some others may have pointed it out, but none of those heroes are particularly useful as her illusions should never be grouped up.. Its more like the old days where if you didn't seriously delay AM his battlefury he'd farm like crazy, except that with Naga you also get to safely keep every lane...
At first glance C9 seems to have had a great first day, but if you look at the teams they've played they ideally wanted to go 5-0, the only top team they've beaten is EG. OTH Liquid had a spectacular first day defeating the what many thought were the top3 seeds. In short C9 did the minimum...
In game one were they supposed to give Alliance Lycan instead on dire? The issue with game-2 was giving them both those heroes, it might have been better if C9 had picked Storm over Mirana he might have been able to close the gap with prophet and prevent TPs. Regardless there does seem to be...
My memory of wearing timex watches as a kid is that the straps invariable break within 6-months or so. Some of these watches have stainless steel bezels. (I think the black ones might be anodized?)
Shame none of these watches are using qi wireless charging.
I would disagree, from the emails note that Era is not cleared to bootcamp and hasn't played with the team since DH Bucharest (mid-may). By the start of TI4 it will have been 2-months since he's been able to play with the other 4, its not really surprising that they expect Excalibur would...
Its probably like the transition that happened in pro-sports in the late 70s and throughout the 80s/90s. Until that point players were able to get by on natural talent alone, do shit over the off season and still be competitive. The dota2 scene has started to reach the point where the players...
Oddly its not just the girls, Waga has his top donators (donations?) listed and there are multiple who have donated several thousand.
I think that is unlikely - pocket strats work once or twice and can't really be relied upon, and the grapevine tells other teams about heroes a player is...
Draskyl was a pro HoN player tho
PresquVu (?) maybe? She seems to play with a few of the pro players and does ok.
I think she's in the 4ks so she can't be that bad, though I think her hero pool at that level isn't enormous. Also seems like a nice girl for a giant
I don't understand all the Envy hate (maybe some envy? haha) - we don't know anything about the internal team dynamic, a lot of games sing will take the aegis if you want to blame someone blame someone who wasn't involved in the decision or pickup for not being in position to watch and/or stop ...
Cloud 9 has occasionally been putting Envy mid with PA for a while.
One potential issue for EG is that very rarely do they run something other than Arteezy on a farming mid, though perhaps that role is todays equivalent of the Bulldog Prophet/Bear offlane in the TI3 era. A few other teams...
Perhaps its simply the style in vogue at the moment but having watched most of the Summit games overall I didn't find the matches to be consistently great, often either on or both teams just felt shaky. To be honest I wondered if the more financially secure teams were simply using the event to...
I did the same thing, ran a 50cc to take the rust off then moved on to the 100cc which I mostly 2/3 starred. At this point I'm only missing gold in one or two cups in 150cc.
While I like the game I think its not as good as some of the earlier versions. In particular being in first sucks...
Something one of the casters pointed out - pretty much all the NAR players have left / been kicked from previous teams due to personality conflicts. One wonders whether they'll be able to keep it together.
I picked Naga and the damn Euro's pretty much ignored her. :/ I was 39/100 on picks...
That isn't the typical way to do things.... usually one has 1,3,5,7 in one and 2,4,6,8 in the other. When you place closely ranked teams together you increase the likelihood of an upset.
One really has to question the sanity of whoever decided the WPC playoff groups -WPC 2014 Playoffs - Liquipedia Dota 2 WikiLets put all the strong teams in one!
All the EU qualifier games I've seen are super shitty.
Someone was asking along these lines earlier... but I went back to school at 25 and graduated at 29. I also did (paid) internships at IBM and the company I still work for. No kids or spouse though which is easier, to be honest the weirdest part is the first couple years when other students...
