I think it's less about enjoying it and more that I don't really have a regular group to progress through the campaign with. I've only played descent a couple of times, for the same reason, but have enjoyed that for the most part. Hopefully if I have my own copy of SWIA, I'll find people...

    Whiplash (2014)

Because it deserves its own thread! I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Never thought I'd find jazz drumming so fascinating, though it's more about the characters than the topic. Great performances all round.

The Theory of Everything -- Stephen Hawking chick flick

Pretty good movie. Absolutely brilliant performance, but seems like the movie is more about Jane than stephen. Not surprising since it's based on her memoir but I'm not overly interested in her struggles, even though it's a pretty shitty situation for her to be in.

    Oscars 2015

Pretty meh year imo. Some good films but nothing really stands out as something I'm going to remember in a couple of years time. Yet to see Birdman though, so maybe that will change my mind. Lego movie I'll probably remember for a while.

Played Spyfall for the first time. Really great game. Similar to resistance, but a lot more light hearted and far more accessible I think. Great game for friends and family that might not be gamers. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/166384/spyfall

online played it online via vassel. It's a good wargame combined with diplomacy but you have to like that sort of thing. The layout of the map tends to favour some of the houses I think. At least, if you don't watch them early, they'll storm hard late on. Need to dust it off again since I liked...

I playedEscape: Zombie City | Board Game | BoardGameGeekrecently which is a good little coop zombie game. It's real time though, which is an interesting mechanic that you'll either love or hate. Also quite short since you need to escape within 15 min or you lose!

    Soccer 2014 - 2015

The 2 day turn around curse strikes again! Seriously though, there's no excuse for coughing up a 2 goal lead at home to Leicester. I'm starting to wish soccer had the american system, where we could hire someone like Tony Pulis as our defensive coordinator since, Rodgers clearly doesn't have a...

    Soccer 2014 - 2015

I think it was actually a brilliant move by Rodgers. Clearly, with the way we are playing, the best path to champions league football next season is to win the Europa League! Certainly seems more achievable than winning the CL itself or finishing in the top 4 at this rate.
