Isn't it usually the same with WoW expansions, though? People come back when the expansion comes out, they do everything, get bored, and leave again? That's usually what I did.

Speaking of the game, has there been any word on how it's doing so far? I'm sure a lot of people have left, as that happens with every MMO. But I wonder if it'll have a stable player base in a month or two?

The community there is toxic as fuck. Nothing but bitching about bugs, talking about how the game is dying, how everyone is un-subbing, etc. Honestly it's hard to read through. I mean, I know the game has problems, but Christ.

So the big content update's site is up, and while I'm cool with that, I do wonder how many people are set aside to fix bugs and balance issues? Hopefully it's not like GW2 where they take forever to address things.

Problem is that the first 20 or so levels are pretty average. Picks up a little at around 15 though.

Because current WoW isn't the WoW from TBC and Vanilla. It's a sort of watered down game. I don't even say that in terms of complexity or anything. It just feels like Blizzard just phones it in now. Bunch of us are on Stormtalon on the Dominion side.

Wildstar seem to be losing viewers on Twitch. Wonder if that's a bad sign, or just E3?

I think once I hit level 30 I'll do a review. The game isn't perfect, but I think it's core systems are solid. So basically with some adjusting, trimming, etc, it would be a fantastic MMO.

Also renown, so the idea is there. Maybe an exp bonus for questing with others.

I think they just need to have less of them. You're right, though. They need to trim down the quests in 1 - 20. It's a bit overwhelming for newer players me thinks.

Has Carbine said anything about adding new dungeons/raids in the upcoming months? I know right now they're just trying to get everything on the up and up. But I'm just curious about how additional content will be addressed.

It's probably going to come down to weather they can pump out raid and group content. A lot of these new MMOs lack raid content at launch. Once you hit max level, there's fuck all to do. Luckily Wildstar does have a raid already, but I hope they're already getting the next ones ready.
