Went for my first ride today with the new pedals and must say my fears were definitely unfounded. Didn't have any issues stepping in and out of them and generally found the ride more enjoyable (as enjoyable as a 22 degree ride can be).

Hah, to be honest the idea of clip in's terrify me. The amount of bad drivers (students and old people) in Lexington is astounding and I am not sure I like the thought of getting my legs stuck to the bike if I get hit. I will probably pick a set up though for longer rides eventually.
