Don't have one yet, just been reading up on it at work and pob updated just today. You're probably farther along in theorycrafting and playtesting than I am. But, yes, you are correct, that is a general downside of Ivory Tower. Arcane Cloak does help mitigate that.

Built in 1972, but I don't think the tile is original. The garage was originally a garage and it was converted to a workspace I think back in 2000 and tiled then. But I can't confirm this. I just don't see a reason for a garage to be tiled.

Shame you can't spellslinger ED/Contagion. My feeling is they put a bunch of balancing work into spellslinger for there to be any "wow!" combo. Years of Poet's Pen and CoC have likely paved the way for this. Archmage support seems much more promising.

Yeah, not much you can do there. Chaos DOTs don't get faster mods like bleed and poison do. The opposite would be to up your defenses so you can live through mobs that long. CI and that cluster notable that hinders on chaos hit might help.

If you're confident a pack of mobs will eventually die in X skill activations, you should move on. Sucks for looting, but your filter will become more strict soon. Phasing from a quartz flask and Dash help a ton for getting around mobs that are going to die but haven't died yet. But, I assume...

I've found that doing a back and forth wiping pattern allows for looting, but this really only works in open layout maps. My dps isn't such that I can clear the whole map with delirium anyway, so there's little cost to going back a bit to loot.

Barrage was acting funny with Poet's Pen last league, proccing much more than frenzy. IIRC, that was not the case before 3.9. My guess is the implementation of Barrage Support changed the skill gem too. Unsurpising if Poet's Pen and Spellslinger share some base code.

This league seems designed for a shoot and scoot type of build. Reminds me a bit of high GR grinding as a DH in D3. Except the rewards are kinda shitty sometimes. I hope they scale up better in higher maps, I'm just starting into yellows. Chaos recipe seems pretty good this league.

Why caustic arrow and raider? Onslaught doesn't benefit caustic arrow's dot damage, right?

Both will probably be good. Persistent dots are going to be good for the league mechanic. I find bladestorm good for leveling but annoying at clearing maps. Toxic rain handles the latter better but it's not awesome itself either.

You guys nearly got Cyclone nerfed, you're talking about playing it too much. Say you're going to league start with dual strike or something.

I don't think focus is required for ice nova and fb. Basically, it's very similar to any other 1-2 build. ED/Contagion, mines, etc.

0.5s seems like eternity to spawn corpses.

Cyclone does not need -15 mana cost chests. You can negate cyclone's mana cost with a couple ring enchants. You might need the amulet enchant too.

You could probably level with BV, I don't see why not. I was just suggesting alternatives because I cannot get into BV's playstyle. I hate maintaining those blades.

I'm guessing they get a rough draft to translators early so that when final notes are released, the translators only have a bit more work to do.
