Northrend loses massive immersion after you get flying. Its convenient, but boy does it shit on that expansion. You feel small and insignificant when you're on the ground in front of Icecrown Citadel, but in the air it looks like no big deal.

Lack of Wool Cloth might be instance-related too. More humanoids in the Alliance-side type dungeons also, right? I tend to get most of the Wool Cloth I've had from Razorfen Kraul instead of Shadowfang Keep. Silk is stupid common because of Scarlet Monastery. That stuff drops like crazy.

The problem with transfers is that Blizzard sucks at them. Every time they've done transfers like that in the past, the server empties out and the new ones become "full" with queues. There's never a threshold or cut-off.
