I've tried all the attachments I was interested in. For assault, stock helps, but scope is too zoomed in. The rifle itself is inferior to the starting rifle though which can't be modified. The spray pattern is just too huge to be accurate. If there were a semi auto mode with decent accuracy...

Hold C to go to first, I play in first. BTW the rocket trooper's pistol can win you fights vs snipers. Super long range and strong and accurate. When I got smoked across the map the first time against it I thought the guy must be cheating, but later I tried it and the gun is just that good haha.

So night vision optics took me from near dead last to near the top. Just being able to see your reticle makes a huge difference.

The Woodsy map is heavily in favour of the resistance. I think I only saw the first order win early in the day when nobody knew what they were doing. Too easy to spot and now everyone has alot of cheesy mines and stuff.

Ugh tried the starfighters. Totally incompatible with a flight stick. You can't even see the mappings, and the throttle control won't map to a stick's throttle analog. The turning / rolling stuff is all whacked out as well.

It's really bad. I think the job of any shooter is to have good gunplay and movement, and when you do die you feel it was fair / your fault and you learn from the experience. If dying feels like bullshit 99% of the time you've failed.

Have any of you ever actually kept track of time grinding? I did once for SWG Jedi (village era), and it was about 1100 hours. It also felt much quicker than 50-60 in original EQ but that may have just been that I had a job during the EQ. I did 2 extra force sensitive branches so 4/6 * 1100...

Battle Chasers looks really good artwise. I won't play it as it has the stand-in-your-spot jrpg arena combat, but you jrpg people might like it.
