Has anything explained how he's able to turn it on and off at will? The most I can remember is one of the older JLU episodes where his nightmare was not being able to turn it off & everyone was in perma-slow motion.

I think I was around 100 (pre-energy change) before I saw that setting. That said, I still prefer leaving it off, if I'm playing something that needs it I'd rather be playing, if it doesn't need it, I can autoattack through it (Four pillars)
