Absolutely. Minimalist diet. My colleague; young, healthy, active found out he had a HbA1C of 14%-- he barely eats much more than beans and leafy veggies now, but he has packed on muscle and his HbA1C is now under 5%. All diet.

Finished it-- a phenomenal bit of steampunk. I've seen and read so many stories that incorporate steampunk motifs, but I truly believe Carrnival Row's purpose was to be the ultimate steampunk series. I can't decide whether it is or it isn't, but it tries so hard and achieves so much to that end...
