@Araysar
Did you read twist of the wrist?
My driving test for my license consisted of a state trooper looking out the window, asking me if I rode there, and signing off on it. Lol
Laying it down is going to happen. Better at 5 mph than 50.
Launching the thing just means those people have to find something new to do.
On Isaac Arthur. Dude is great. I think he needs to work at space x or NASA. I've listened to so much of his stuff his voice doesn't register as having an impediment anymore.
Whats the relation of Nova Carinae to Beta Carinae? I know Beta Carinae is bright as fuck.
Anyone here watch Isaas Arthur on youtube? Dude has some amazing shit about space.
Swear we had this thread already...
Some of you sound like fags. Pits are great dogs. Just most owners have no idea how to work with the hard headed ones, and fuck them up. They can be ultra high energy and hard headed.
Dude was brilliant, but did he get some undue credit from his illness etc? Read a while ago some of his big claims were simultaneously done by others but they didn't want to be dicks to the dying cripple.
Either way, epic life and contributions (I think).
Kudos, and well played.
Didnt see a thread, haven't seen shit about it. But Isaac Arthur is doing the world building and consulting for tech so might be great. Should be interesting to see how the games setting is laid out.
Anyone else heard about this?

Yeah ... Didn't know that either. Figured it was just more accuracy / evasion.
Since I started rigging up my own designs, the game got a lot easier. Lol
Three ions best for star bases? Usually drop one on at the last set of slots, never looked into the efficiency of the vs the regular things.
Hell, I won two games before I realized the "auto best" ships weren't equipping my missiles rank 5 but instead were outfitted with whatever the starter...
No... it's only a good thing if you have enough minority / oppression points to pay for the cost of the trait. Otherwise your just a shit lord oppressing people. Or something.
I'm kinda warming to it. The hyperlane thing I thought was pretty blah. But its not too bad early b/c your empire is small, jump drives cut out a large part of it, and gateways finish it off (as a problem).
Havent really played this in a year or so, learning it all again and giving myself a...
Spent a few hours playing it, and still not sure how I like it.
It's been a while since I played this. So prolly take a few weekends to get adjusted to all the changes etc.
Damn mercs were breaking my balls.
You clowns get pretty autistic and nit picky about random derails and other various stupid shit. I'm a lot farther on the side of "let shit slide" than any of our mods... not my fault you lack consistency.
What the fuck, forced starlanes?
Spent a few hours playing around with all the DLCs . . . not sure if I like the forced starlanes thing or not . .
Its the single reason I never picked up the recent MOO game
Is there any DLC worth getting besides Utopia?
@Dioblaire
Thats kinda what I'm trying to figure out. Played the base version for a long while, and Utopia looks like the only DLC with real content. The others look like skins, some races, etc. But nothing of real merit.
Hope so. Gotta give this a shot after the first one, they earned that much. But the Domino thing is prolly going to pick at me whereas it wouldn't a few years ago.
$150M for 63,800 kg (140,700 lb) to LEO or 26,700 kg (58,900 lb) to GTO (fully expendable) ,or $95M for 90% of its maximum capacity in 2018 - Wikipedia
I think the common thought is its about 2k / kg . . . so the answer is, a lot.
For 50$ they likely won't review it well enough to catch anything (esp during filing season). And all liability still rests with you.
If you are really concerned about it, spend a few hours reading pubs on the IRS site. 95% of what the general public needs is in those pubs in plain English.
You need substantiation to prove expenses, not claim. That's the "will I get audited risk".
Claims can and do result in audits.
Phones etc have to be prorated, unless it is solely for business. Then it could fall under ordinary and necessary.
Beer, prolly going to fall into ordinary and...
