so if its available anyway, the addons arnt really needed. they are just a crutch. they didnt remove the combat log, they removed part of it and people act like the sky is falling.

so you dont need the addon then. problem solved.

a lot of the addons wernt needed and its all a bit of an overreaction. while being able to see buffs etc are pretty much required, being able to see where damage is coming from in PvP should not be in a game. you shouldnt be able to tell what your fighting just by hightlighting it, etc. oh...

this is the current state of mmo design. Have something limited and get your players to create as much as possible for free. See Wildstar inviting modders to their offices so they start making addons, EQ Landmark, etc.

could add an anti-rpg type option. Have a reward for hunting down pirates who have stolen goods. The hunters get the reward, the original owner of the goods get a portion of the original value. mind you i dont know whats actually in game right now, im just throwing shit out there.

dont most mmos avoid putting cheat detections in betas? why give hackers a headstart? for example, you wont see the warden active on a blizzard beta server.

max resists has never been enough. you need to max out after elemental weakness for higher maps. Granted the start of merciless is a little earlier for this than weve ever seen but needing higher than max resists is not unprecedented.

try running it windowed, i was able to alt tab out without any trouble. Also the win count should be under the portrait for that class.
