yeah. I found the summoner really strong. havent unlocked everything, but yeah. sit back, and just throw stuff at everything.
low hp and defense on you. but, your minions all scale with willpower directly. you can basically forsake everything else.
infuse a stun break and teleport in...
Can we talk about something else?
I don't think I brought it up. but its something that always stuck in my craw. and the recent complaint on "fucking zombies..." brought it back up with me.
why is it always the same shit over and over?
Basically in order. spiders, wolves, bears, rats.
Oh...
I think its a very nice buzzword.
That could mean a whole lot of things in game.
I do miss on some level a more relaxed dungeon crawl/grind. Modern dungeons are about killing trash as fast as possible, and rushing to boss most efficiently.
The camp in a dungeon pathing safe spot...
yes that image isn't helpful.
they don't get birth control to children or men for a reason. (well, some men... but thats a different thread) But in general suggesting what is acceptable for one person also works for everyone else is flawed.
I mean, what if its glucose or something like that...
yeah. and this kindof brings up one thing I wanted to say to the dev team.
"Don't listen to us."
Look at this thread. This is the problem with even a niche, and targeted game. Old school, hardcore gamers here... and we sure as hell do not have a consensus of what we want in a game...
yeah. I have a REAL hard time going back an playing any mmo that doesn't have a block/dodgeroll now.
i would probably point to dcuo, and tera for block/dodge mechanics though. (even as much as I hate dcuo combat all around)
the telegraphing is important as noted. I don't think GW2 quite...
you are not even buying one.
That is the danger with kickstarter.
its a donation.
its a pre-order.
its an investment.
and any time the morality or legality or oversight of any particular one is called into question, just play a shell game of swapping around which it really is.
Rum diary?
still a bit of a weirdo though.
he wouldn't be my first choice. Honestly, can we get RDJ to play Strange too? Stark and Strange are practically the same character.
Depp brings alot of star power. And he IS a good actor. just sometimes... yeah.
Do we blame him or the...
how do you figure?
its the $45 tier but without limits.
As others stated, you put an "early bird" tier with limited spots at one price, and an unlimited one at a higher price, for when that limited supply runs out.
Standard practice.
this thread went weird.
one minute. "zomg take my money", with what I too thought fairly mediocre KS pitch.
But, we then went full tilt the other way to rage and trainwreck.
yeah, the UI thing is boggling me. hell the UI was one of the things, I was referring to, when I suggested, that should be part of the base game, and I wouldn't want to play the game at all, if that goal is not reached.
changing to a true 3 axis play requires an entirely different control scheme.
Like going from Quake, to Descent. or rogue squadron to tiefighter.
You can't do that in one game, its is always annoying.
You play a class because presumably you like the way it plays. Then you hit water, and...
Across the board, this is probably true.
Alpha could be like 150 to 300 as you say.
PoE create/name an item $1000
here $300.
10k to design a dungeon, (including paying for travel)
that could be like 30k. especially when limited to 3.
10k for design a boss instead.
man. some of those stretch goals. totally fall under, "I would not play this game if it doesn't have this.."
The low target ensures it succeeds as a KS I guess. Let me know if the game hits 3-4m though I guess.
(or 8m to remove water content)
garlic cures cancer, tooth decay, and kills aphids, mites, and scale. Also, increases fertility in eagles with runoff.
doesnt kill mildew though.
Need copper bracelets for that. magnetic healing kills rhizoctonia, powdery mildew, and blight.
if there is contamination in a local farm, you will only know after you are sick. Organic fertilizer is also not as safe as synthetic, either for produce.
But otherwise, people are calling you stupid, because you are being stupid. changing the meaning of words to try and justify, your...
The latter two are pretty clearly nice impressionist pieces. I don't think anyone will argue against them.
the first two are aesthetically pleasing. Earlier someone mentioned not being able to tell the "Art" from the wallpaper. the flaw in that is suggesting wallpaper isn't art itself...
few problems here.
1. not balanced between classes works more in a pve game, then pvp.
like witchelves in warhammer. instantly murder like 3 classes even in a team fight. can 1v1 everyone else. but bright mages of course aoe fight gods. Bright mages being op didnt make playing an archmage...
it made me wonder when I said it.
Swapping is of course a reaction to limited raid/party slots in dungeons. as well as the trinity design. It was intended to let people who were not specced healer/tank outside of those dungeons, swap to the needed role in them.
however, problems arose...
and when that happens, its almost entirely because when the player made their character in the first place, they didn't know what the games end game mechanics were. so didn't know they were making a wrong choice.
and then 40+ levels later. they are forced to either abandon their character with...
That is fucking stupid. Making design choices where one race is the flat out correct choice is wrong.
In this case, the correct way, would be to make each have unique advantages. Ogre, has blunt damage reduction presumably. more hp. And possibly a larger hitbox/collision to prevent...
DnDonline totally did have int rogues... unfortunately, as he notes. they were generally not all that welcome. as str/damage rogues killed things faster, and all the lockpicking, debuffs, stealth, traps, etc were easily handled by wands and spells that do the same thing.
As he says...
yeah. LoL I would bet does have a good ratio.
And did basically NAIL the sweet spot of intrusion.
The fact on the surface you even may think, its all cosmetic. but as others noted. Runes, rune pages, or buying champs.
Skins were the only thing you can't buy with Ip directly. Although...
yeah. I dont know about this.
Dull characters who you can't even remember who was who.
idiotic containment procedures. oh look, man sized air vents...
how is this going to be drawn out into a series?
well I guess DC doesnt owe me any money for my work.
I mean, I am creating digital files. and they are PRINTING them. That is totally transformative. Why are they paying me?
That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. Enlarging something is not an original work.
Thats like taking a...
it had a pvp system. it just didnt have pvp rewards.
BGS vs world pvp.
BG's should give less rewards. not more. that was WoW mistake. The advantage of bgs pvp is that it is on call. instant satisfaction. no searching for a fight, and generally a more or less fair one.
Bg's were...
see, that is my problem with most peoples statements on what pvp should be.
Is it just me that likes all of the above?
Sometimes I log on and want to go exploring, questing, whatever. And have the excitement of having to watch my back at all times. or to be on the other side, and go...
If you are not building the world with flying mounts in mind in the first place, I would highly recommend you cut the idea out entirely.
Flying changes how the entire layout of the world is handled. And either you built for that, or you didn't. adding it later, will break all the content prior.
did you not raid towns/cities too? Deep run tram. Grom gol. Undercity. Duskwood/westfall was good too. all of STV was a battleground at all times.
Wow's contested/uncontested system was pretty good. The layout for graveyards in most cases good, to promote travel to attack.
player...
