As always, it depends on your build. The spectrum of what builds are functional and feasible in SSF has definitely increased. But if your build requires a specific item to even function, well, good luck. The Indigon CI build I mentioned before needs a Skyforth, no way am I going to hope to...

Why is that a good thing? All the gear I'm wearing is from trading. I don't want them encouraging SSF unless some serious rebalancing of gear drops happens.

That extra 0.5% weapon damage isn't going to make or break anything. Even for spells, you don't need a level 21 to get a feel for it. Just buy a 20/0 to experiment.

Depending on your goals for the game, 50 regrets to essentially repec your character can be a trivial cost.

All I was refuting is that anything not VD/Unearth is shit. There are likely many many other PP builds that aren't shit and aren't VD/Unearth, but Arc/BL is the only one I have experience with. But thanks for the asshole response. Next time, I suggest you read the whole post before responding.

Sounds like confirmation bias. I got 1 exalt to drop all of Incursion league. 2 dropped in the flashback. And 10+ have dropped for me in Delve. Regular Incursion sucks!

It's a decent build, the main progenitor to PP and Inpulsa, but it's a bit weak on defenses for my tastes. A non-crit version that takes advantage of chill, freeze, and blind is much better.

I'm running Vitality and Watcher's Eye, so I'm getting LoH from there. The problem I'm having is multistrike, slow leap slam, and kaom's roots feels sluggish. I tried a few portals with a Brightbeak, damage just wasn't there.

Tested my Nebuloch MS Jugg against Uber Elder, didn't get past 50%. Multistrike, melee, and a relatively slow Leap Slam just doesn't seem fit for that fight. Shame, he's a pretty good character just about everywhere else. Anyone else have more luck with similar character on that fight?

Arc - Ice Bite - Elemental Prolif in one pen, Lightning Warp - Less Duration - Swift Affliction in the other. HoI - Ice Bite - Innvervate - Elemental Prolif somewhere else.

The scrub part was sarcasm. Volatile Dead and Unearth are fine for leveling but it's not outstanding due to the delay of having to frequently make your own corpses(low density). Arc, HoI, and prolif will just blow packs up as you warp through them. Note, this is in context of Poet's Pen.

Is there any reason for any spell build NOT to run Molten Shell(or Phase run) linked to L20(or whatever's reasonable in the buff duration) Arcane Surge? This seems especially powerful for Indigon builds since they can easily manage the L20 version. Hell, I bet there's a way to automate this...

You have go off into the darkness during a delve, not at the nodes(there is an exception to this). Basically, you want to explore any side areas that the crawler doesn't go. If you're quick enough, you can open chests and fossils that are worth your time and scoot back to the crawler before...

VD/unearth is scrub tier leveling, go with arc/lw and some prolif. There isn't complete control, gotta spam to maximize dps, so if you have a movement skill socketed, you'll be casting that along with your dps skill.

Speaking of October release...Gwent! The card game that (mostly)hates RNG and is quite generous with card packs. They are finally releasing the game later this month along with a substantial makeover. Looks promising.

My setup is usually T13's get two chisels, T14's get three, T15+ gets 4. I might change that based on how well I can sustain chisels vs how much I feel like buying chisels. Alch, check for reflect, and then vaal all red maps. I might change the vaal part after I finish the 30 8-mod challenge...
