Yes and no, I think they want people being able to see that coming on the incoming player in pvp Sure you can quick swap to it but along with hitting the parry...

My best pvp char SL 150 is knights resolve lance Caster is great for sniping and stalling/griefing Where you invade matters a ton for a caster Spell blade types are great with projectiles to finish runners

Ya and there's shit that's S tier for invasion lurking ganks and shit that's S tier for duels

Lava sorcery minus Rykars Rancor on erdtree avatars was fuckin doodoo, so I grabbed this death prince's staff. Ancient rancorcall is pretty nice for fast dodgers. Fits in nice with int/faith.

Archery can hose down some otherwise difficult mobs. I used great bow to chain knock down Malenia in phase 1. Highly recommend the arrow sting and arrow reach quick swaps.
