One thing that has stopped me from watching Deadwood and Carnivale, is that I'm worried they didn't get an ending. Too bad that HBO didn't look at shows then as they do now. They didn't realize back then that people will stay subbed if there is one good show on at all times.

I loved House of Cards, but after season two, you start to realize that Frank is unbeatable. He's like Batman, but in politics. The acting performances are great, I just can't suspend my disbelief.

This is one of my favorites, but not most favorite. And the way the final season was rushed, it takes away from the legacy of the show.

There are still plot holes, but the characters seem more real, and the acting has gotten better. I guess they finally figured out that with 20 million people watching weekly, it can only go downhill from here, so they better fix some things to stem the tide.

I just asked my wife what she thought was going on. She's a non comic book reader and UFC fan. She said she figured out the fact they called him by name, and gave him an intro about how lethal he was, told her he was not a random henchman. They took time to explain what a badass he was.

That was the X Men's heyday. I can't remember a more popular comic from that decade. Every kid I knew collected X Men monthly. We sat outside of comic book stores like they were selling crack, every time a new issue was going to be released.
