No, and I see options to shorten it to 2 months or to start off with Kunark or Velious as well - far better than the "6 months of Classic" I had been worrying about. Oh and it looks like the 8 months of Classic option was completely canned as a possibility, that did exist before.

Yea, it was an unusually hard zone for me too - layout is just terribly annoying, no one thing is particularly tricky (besides the Frenzy things) but the combo is challenging to get used to.

Torches used to be far rarer in DS2 vanilla - like all the pre-spawned ones were there but there wasn't 200 of the torch carrying dudes that drop them with a 20-30% rate. It wasn't too rare to be running 25-30 min of torches at most in vanilla - going over 1 hr was an outlying case then.

You probably don't want to use Branches on the one in Heide's or Betwixt until you've got plenty to spare.
